Provide expertise and insights to increase global process maturity and improve customer intimacy. Business Process Manager – Global Order-to-Credit/Sales - Animal Heath & Nutrition

Advised, consulted, and challenged internal process at forefront of IT projects.  Leveraged broad experience to provide critical analysis and unbiased insights to business blind spots. Documented and presented opportunities for process alignment, standardization, improvement, and adherence to global process framework in preparation for large digital transformations.
•	Led all pre-deployment activities, roadmap, deliverables, and leadership communication for a $16M project.  Reduced deployment costs by 33% while adding more structure to the readiness process for future ERP deployments.  Created Current State and Risk Assessment report for executive leaders to proactively prepare business for change.  
•	Maximized efficiency by recommending end-to-end process changes ahead of SAP deployment.  Analyzed risks, demonstrated strategic benefits, and presented to senior leadership to ensure deployments met change expectations, were adaptable, and reinforced cross-functional collaboration.

Advised and guided Cargill businesses during global initiative to implement SAP software. Gathered business requirements, conducted gap analysis, wrote user stories (agile), and deployed enterprise-wide solutions to meet unique business needs. Worked closely with cross-functional global teams to document, process map, analyze, prioritize, test, develop training, train end users, present, and deploy in North America.
•	Collaborated with business leaders and architects to create commodity position solutions for multi-billion-dollar businesses in North America; project budgets ranging from $45-$65M
•	Leveraged knowledge of commodities and sales operations to challenge future state processes and digital solutions to ensure needs were addressed and project goals met.

Senior Business Analyst - Global IT

Responsible for developing and executing the sales vision for Cargill’s portfolio of sweetener products generating $2.7B revenue in New England and New York.  Identified, built, maintained, and developed customer relationships to drive business.  
•	Demonstrated adaptability and leadership to grow revenue responsibilities by $821,000 to $2.7B annual revenue
•	Generated $7.2M gross margin with -2% long term trend for high fructose corn syrup, 47% turnover rate in sales team, 18% reduction in force, and territory mix changing five times.

Territory Manager - Starches, Sweeteners & Texturizing

Horizon Milling, a Cargill Joint Venture

Led implementation of Cargill’s first customized, commodity trade software for global SAP adaptation that underpinned Cargill’s global operating process and procedures for trading and risk management.  Partnered with architects shaping end-to-end trade solution for business: contract entry, commodity and implied wheat positions, foreign exchange risk, hedging, inventory, and profit & loss evaluations.  
•	Led position management solution integration and integrity; $1.6B annual procurement of wheat, oats, cocoa, sugar, eggs, and oil impacting 21 wheat mills and 4 baking facilities 
•	Spearheaded foreign exchange solution implementation; accountable for $74M Off- and On-Balance Sheet exposure
•	Responsible for 59 end users in 7 locations understanding and effectively transacting within new system; traders, commercial managers, procurement leads, and accounting teams managing wheat, ingredient, and foreign exchange positions and marked-to-market valuations; localized training materials for improved adoption
•	Led change management efforts and negotiated for business’s best interests
•	Standardized processes for $1.6B merger of Cargill, ConAgra, and CHS flour milling assets

Process Improvement Lead:  Trade

Sourced financial solutions for external corporations in collaboration with Cargill’s strategic customers in North America.  Analyzed counterparties’ current financial state and metrics to optimize working capital solutions. Collaborated with global team to sell financial instruments imbedded in domestic and international trade flows to provide funding to corporations, banks in emerging markets, and to help manage Cargill’s balance sheet.  Managed portfolio of $507M of perpetual, working capital solutions for several Fortune 500 clients; contributed to new, start-up team’s revenue increase of 29%, year over year.

Originator and Distribution, North America - Trade & Capital Markets

Championed business-to-business relationships within United States Paint, Ink and Coating industries.  Provided sustainable, bio-renewable solutions resulting in $51M in vegetable-derived oil sales, $944k margin from new business, and increased year-over-year sales by 53% within consolidating, mature market.   Managed two of six business unit strategic customers delivering high impact presentations of Cargill’s portfolio of 65 agriculturally based products, risk management tools, and cash flow solutions.

Sales Account Manager - Bio-Industrial (Veg-Oils)

Led divisional corn procurement strategy discussions for Cargill’s seven wet milling facilities with specific day-to-day responsibilities orchestrating purchasing activities of approximately $340M of corn annually for facilities in 3 distinct US geographies.  Aligned procurement activities with local and divisional quality assurance, plant logistics, engineering and sales functions. Coached three direct reports remotely; hired and mentored two new, experienced employees.  Managed procurement of “identity preserved” corn for specific customer requirements; hedged $62M of starch products.  Negotiated marine service barge agreements securing compliance with Cargill Law and Cargill Insurance; reduced freight demurrage expenses by over $560,000 in 2005 managing just-in-time supply.  Partnered with Cargill’s Grain Logistics Team instrumental in managing Canadian National Railroad relationship; assessed best practices for private rail fleet of 275 cars.  Collaborated with Cargill business units in post-Hurricane Katrina USDA program minimizing impact of damaged corn and barge traffic to US grain markets.

Merchandising Manager - Starches, Sweeteners & Texturizing

Led five person Merchandising Department to procure corn, coal, electrical power, fuel oil and natural gas for facility worth $191M annually.  Negotiated logistics of feed pellets to river market for export and fly ash to cement industry.  Procured 62M bushels of corn, worth $124M annually, directly from producers, cooperatives, independent elevators and grain resellers.  Served as member of local Business Leadership Team providing strategic, long range plans for the facility. Established premiums for net corn calculation that generated facility slurry costs, divisional production schedules and base for sweetener sale pricing.  Mentored and trained producer merchant, junior merchant and interns.
