My energy comes from working with skilled and bright people within Digital Sales and Marketing. I have done that for close to 20 years and I will enjoy doing so for many years ahead. In the last 7 years I have also used my years within Digital Sales and Marketing being a Board member in various companies in different businesses.   My whole working life, I have focused on putting the customer in the center. I know it is a mantra for probably all of us working within Sales and Marketing, but it is also the most difficult. However, the fast move towards online and ecommerce, has made it even more necessary to understand who your customers are, what journey they embark on to engage with your products and how you as a company can help and support your customers.  In SAS, BESTSELLER, VELUX and now Valtech, I have been blessed with highly skilled digital competences stretching from Brand and Awareness building, Biddable Media, Online sales for both BtB and BtC Customers and much much more.  Just two examples of online sales increases: In SAS we increased direct online sales revenue from 6.7 BDKK in 2009 to 7.6 BDKK in 2010. From 2018-2020 we doubled the direct online sales revenue in VELUX (3 digit MDKK) and at the same time had more than double the profit (EBIT).  Digital development has always been moving fast but we haven't seen anything yet. This development will only increase in speed and complexity and it will put huge demands on company organisations. I have been responsible for Global digital organisations with 100+ people, with 20+ nationalities and have actively focused on balancing the complexity from an ever faster digital development. In close cooperation with managers and employees, have a constant focus on upgrading your internal people, be thorough in your hiring process for new talents and ensure flexibility and new inspiration from working with freelancers and external partners.  Another focus area for many companies including the companies I was employeed in, is Sustainability. Some companies have it in their DNA to focus actively with ESG (Environment, Social, Governance) and the 17 UN  Sustainable Development Goals. I have been lucky to be involved in the early stages of the new (2020) VELUX Sustainability Strategy where also historical CO2 emissions will be compensated. I am also proud of being part of the Troldtekt A/S Board who won the Danish Industry award 2020 for 10 years of focusing on sustainability and Cradle to Cradle.   I will look forward to engaging in a dialogue with you.
