Key Account Manager at one of Europe's leading B2B providers of digital content and services. arvato mobile GmbH is part of arvato AG, the internationally networked media and communications service provider of the global media company Bertelsmann AG.
As a Key Account Manager, I have P&L responsibility for several key partners in the telecommunications and internet service provider sector. My responsibilities include the ongoing maintenance of existing partnerships and the expansion of existing collaborations into new areas. This includes responding to RFIs, RFPs and RFQs.
In addition to the financial management of the account and the organisation of marketing activities, I initiate and coordinate the (technical) improvement of sales platforms in close cooperation with the client. I have extensive experience in analysing end-customer and market requirements and identifying necessary feature developments on the part of the partner or arvato mobile itself. My responsibilities also include the coordination of third-party service providers for relevant services that are not covered by arvato mobile's internal service teams. 
I am also responsible for the business development of one of arvato mobile's key products: the (mobile) AdServer. This involves scanning the market to identify target customers in order to build a sales pipeline. Once these have been identified and agreed with the other business development teams, I am responsible for the initial contact, product presentation, service offer and finally contract negotiations.

As part of the centrally organised product management team, I have sole and overall product responsibility for several of arvato mobile's key products, such as interactive TV services, mobile clients and digital content distribution platforms.
The main aspects of my work are researching and analysing the current state of the art in these areas, i.e. recent technological achievements and future possibilities, main competitors and possible target customers with regard to own business opportunities. My role included identifying appropriate (application) service providers to work with and designing standardised internal services to be developed in response to market needs and opportunities. Depending on the successful calculation of relevant business cases, I present appropriate investment proposals to management. I then define the product roadmap, detailing the required features and providing all the necessary input to make the product or service a reality. 
I am also responsible for providing the necessary documentation (product description, white paper, presentation) and training to our business units to support our sales initiative.
