Sven Meyer holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science by Research & Business Administration from Hamburg University, Germany and has been a researcher at King’s College London as well as the Distributed Systems Technology Centre (DSTC) at the University of Queensland, Brisbane, Australia. He has 20+ years’ experience in Digital Technology and Strategic Business Consulting for large enterprises as well as start-ups across Europe, USA, and Australia. Sven always stays at the forefront of digital innovation, continuously working on the most advanced and innovative technologies: IoT, Data Science, Machine Learning (“AI”), and distributed systems. Throughout that time, he also founded a startup which secured investments from SAP founder Hasso Plattner’s Venture Capital Fund. Since early 2017 he has been fully committed to Blockchain technology and how to apply it best to improve existing and support new business models. He has been a teacher and mentor at RMIT University Melbourne teaching blockchain strategy, design, & development and then working as CTO for multiple startups in Blockchain space leading the technology as well as product definition. Throughout this time, he consistently maintained a leading position in the ever-evolving landscape of blockchain technology, developing smart contracts hands-on himself for Decentralized Finance (DeFi), Token Launch Platforms, Real-World Assets (RWA) tokenization with fractional ownership, securing over USD $100 million. Currently, Sven is also an Advisor and Mentor at three Blockchain/Web3 startup accelerators and Venture Capital Funds, with Outlier Ventures, the No. 1 accelerator and global crypto investor, being one of them.
