With nearly two decades of dedicated experience in digital and ecommerce growth, I have been at the forefront of transformative changes in the industry. My journey began as a foundational employee for a pureplay ecommerce business that went on a journey from a startup to a publicly traded company, expanding its presence across multiple global regions.

For over 7 years, I've had the privilege of working with top-tier brands, accelerating their growth on Amazon in Australia. My current role involves strategic collaborations with brands at the apex of their categories, helping them navigate and thrive in the highly competitive ecommerce landscape.

I'm currently loving my role working over at @ Pattern. In my role, I lead our brand acceleration efforts across various marketplaces, including Amazon. I also oversee our innovative supply chain product, which empowers brands to efficiently scale their operations across areas such as import/export, D2C, B2B, as well as Amazon FBA and FBM.

My career is a testament to my passion for driving growth and operational excellence in the digital commerce space. I thrive on building new things, continuously seeking opportunities to innovate and create impactful strategies that propel brands to new heights.

My 10 2026 predictions:


1/ Amazon doubles down on AI, dynamic product titles launch.
Same laptop. Different shopper.
→ “Gaming laptop” sees GPU + FPS
→ “Work laptop” sees battery + weight
AI optimising further for intent.

2/ Rufus launches in Australia.
Amazon won’t let discovery move to ChatGPT unchecked.
Conversational shopping becomes native inside the Amazon app.
If you’re not optimised for Rufus, you take a backseat.

3/ Amazon Australia hits $12–14B GMV.
This isn’t bullish if they already sit around the $9-$10B GMV in 2025
3P will continue to outpace 1P growth.

4/ Temu growth cools without Western brands.
They’ll add better brand protection. 
Some brands will trial it.
It won’t move the needle.
Without trust and real brands, growth softens.

5/ TikTok Shop launches in Australia.
Beauty, skincare, gadgets win early.
Search follows later.

6/ Ads enter major LLMs.
Subscriptions won’t fund them forever.
Ads are inevitable, we have already seen signs.
Open AI kicks it off, Google will end the year in front.

7/ LLM discovery optimisation becomes the #1 digital mandate.
Not SEO. Not CRO.
GEO: Generative Engine Optimisation.
If ChatGPT and Gemini don’t mention you, you don’t exist.

8/ Shopping agents emerge, but don’t take off.
People like shopping.
Where they don’t, they already subscribe.
Agents stay niche: utilities, refills, boring purchases.
Not discretionary spend.

9/ More Australian marketplaces die.
Catch and MyDeal were the 2025 edition. This continues in 2026.
For 26M people, we have too many undifferentiated players.
Some won’t make it to 2027.

10/ AI SaaS explodes, most of it fails.
Distribution first. AI second.
If your product only works because of AI, you’re fragile.
If AI amplifies an existing product, you win.

I started writing on here about a year ago for one reason

To help people in my market understand how to actually win on marketplaces like Amazon.

For that to work, reach matters.
If no one sees it, there is no value.

I saw these LinkedIn reach benchmarks recently.
They’re not going to be perfect for everyone, but they line up closely with my own data.

For me:
→ Some posts land around ~500 impressions
→ Some run past 100,000+

Same intent. Same audience. Same goal.

Benchmarks are useful as a sense-check.
They tell you whether your system is working, not whether a post “won”.

But ultimately they are a guide only.

Consistency is what creates reach optionality.

Some posts educate a few hundred people.
Some reach tens of thousands.

Both matter.
