Did I ever want to work in recruitment? No I never thought I would find a carer that matched the buzz of working in a sales function…I was so wrong! Thinking that nothing would compare to that feeling when you close a sale and succeed as a team. Recruitment has given me that and so much more. I'm extremely lucky to have had some amazing experience's which have enabled me to grow and develop as an individual. I now see myself as a dynamic and tenacious leader who specialises in sales, retention and recruitment. My 19 years sales experience includes 9 years in the energy sector which I absolutely loved, but I have also had successful careers in telco, finance, outsourcing and life insurance. I’ve recently been fortunate enough to set up a brand new business function from the ground up, grow my own team, design and implement new processes and now I have a successful fully functioning delivery hub, which recruits in volume across the whole of the U.K. One of my proudest achievements was being Nationally Accredited by the institute of customer service. There is such a stigma when in comes to sales but I want to inspire and drive exceptional sales performance across multi functioning teams whilst maintaining a positive customer focused culture. Whilst working in leadership I discovered my love for coaching. I truly believe in people development and engaging and empowering your people. There is nothing more rewarding than watching someone else succeed and achieve their goals and aspirations when you have been part of their journey. The other thing that excites me is business. Particularly business development and continuous improvement. I believe it is important to stay curious, question the norm and always look for new ways to improve products, process, services and customer experience. Throughout my career I always thought I was driven and motivated, that was until my two sons come along. They are the fuel that drives me, they are my motivation that keeps me going no matter how difficult things may get. They are my absolute why!
