Hi there, I'm Sybil Hall - an author, globe-trotting educational consultant, and innovative entrepreneur. My passion is helping teachers live well and teach well. For over two decades, I have studied and practiced holistic pedagogical approaches as an adult learner, teacher leader, and instructional coach at US public schools and prestigious independent schools worldwide. I am a literacy strategist with Erin Kent Consulting, a mentor with Modern Classroom Project, and a wealth and well-being coach for teachers currently. My life journey has focused on teaching and living well, and my family and I have lived in five countries across three continents. I've raised my kids at the Shanghai American School, the American School of Dubai, and the International School of Brussels. Before their birth, my husband and I also taught at the American Overseas School of Rome. My mission is to empower educators to live more balanced lives without sacrificing their teaching careers. When we serve ourselves, we can better serve our students. My book, Burn Bright, Not Out was written while teaching fifth grade in the forest, after burning out myself during the difficult time of teaching during Covid.
