HUGs (Helpful Unfettered Gifts) are a microgift program offered through Charlotte is Creative (CIC). CIC recognized that for Charlotte to be recognized as the innovative, artistic, and creative city that it is, creatives need freedom and confidence. Too often, creative projects and ideas never see the light of day because something (usually something small) gets in the way. So in 2017, rather than giving out obstacle-laden grants, CIC started giving out HUGs. Since the start of the program tens of thousands of dollars have been distributed directly into the hands of hundreds of local artists who have been able to create great big (and small) things, myself included. 

I am extraordinarily honored to serve as a HUG Committee Chair member, where I will be training,  reviewing, providing feedback, selecting recipients, and granting HUGs to my fellow Charlotte creatives.

· Content & Copywriting: Create, edit, and publish blog posts to increase the SEO value of the company website and generate new leads resulting in a 50% increase in traffic over the previous year. Copywriting also extends to decks, new materials, RFP proposals, and website edits. Management of freelance team.
· Digital Marketing: Oversight of the entire digital marketing strategy, including external (third-party) and internal Google ad PPC, SEO, website, paid social, and email marketing.
· Social Media: Manage all social media channels (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Linkedin, Google Business, Slack, and Reddit) across B2B and B2C markets to increase engagement, build online communities, and achieve targeted goals.
· Website & Graphic Design: Production of website banners, downloadable guides, graphics for blogs, social media, and digital advertisements.
· Email: Design high-quality email marketing campaigns and newsletters using Hubspot and MailChimp, increasing subscribers/customers by 40% YoY.
· Strategy: Develop and execute the yearly marketing calendar to build our reputation across B2C and B2B channels as an approachable and authentic brand that cares about our product and people. Redesign and rebrand of the company website resulting in a 67% increase in new contacts YoY. Developed vision for customer experience, persona development, and customer journey mapping. Tracking and management of the company and consumer reviews across all online platforms.

· Social Media: Managed and nurtured our email and social accounts to increase traffic and engagement.

· Events: Manage all aspects of events including planning logistics, invitations, registration, conference materials and on-site assistance to create a memorable experience for attendees

· Marketing: Created and managed all top and mid-funnel sales content in our Marketing Automation System, Marketo. Continuously monitored A/B testing for content, subject lines, photography engagement, click rates, open rates, and deliverability.
· Project Management: Strategized and executed continuous improvement opportunities that directly affected bottom-line revenue, including launching webchat (76k revenue generation in first 9 months), payment recovery and relief team (covid19 response), lead scoring, regionalization of the sales team, virtual tours as a product, project to streamline phone tree and track data (85k revenue in first 3 months), referral program implementation (88k revenue), listing site and brokerage onboarding program, two company acquisitions, and sales incentive programs.
· Sales: Supported the sales process for our national network of 95 locations. Educated customers and brokers about our products by phone, email, webchat, outbound campaigns, national and local marketing campaigns, nurture programs, incentive programs, and referral traffic. Managed and maintained all leads in Salesforce.

Marketing & Email Development Lead

· Sales, Marketing, & Operations: Opened Industrious' first Charlotte office at 33% occupancy from pre-sales while also managing the local marketing, facilities, and the build-out team. By the end of year one, maintained an 86% occupancy rate by focusing 100% on member retention, sales, and hospitality. Reported out monthly revenue forecasting, overdue invoices, and hospitality scores.
· Office Management: This position had direct responsibility for the retention of existing members, attracting new members, sales, terminations, recruiting, training, facilities issues, building management, and delivery of quality support services and overall member satisfaction.

· Human Resources: Managed weekly payroll, administered employee benefit plans and programs, maintained compliance with state and federal regulations and created New Hire Orientation, Employee Performance Management Process, Employee Handbook, and OSHA Safety Handbook.
· Recruiting: High-volume full lifecycle recruitment for full-time and 1099 contractor positions.
