I have over 26 years of experience in Social Work. My passion is working with individuals and families, helping them develop a better connection and attunement to achieve a stronger relationship. I am particularly interested in working with couples. My ultimate hope is to empower individuals and couples to achieve their desired change and growth by facilitating and guiding their communication skills to establish their renewed intimacy and emotional connection. My work is influenced by the Gottman Method and Emotional-Focused Therapy as well as tapping into a variety of other modalities, including Narrative Therapy and Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy. I also integrate Mindfulness and Progressive Muscle Relaxation techniques into both my professional and personal life. I am PACFA Registered Clinical Counsellor. I have completed a research study on Russian Migrant parenting experience in Australia as part of my Master's Degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy.
