Every one of us has a situation that springs us into action and I am no different. My niece, at the age of 5 was dropped off 5 miles away from where she was expected. Her pleas were ignored, and no one knew where she was for 1.5 hours. 𝐈 𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐝𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐬𝐨𝐥𝐯𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐛𝐥𝐞𝐦 𝐛𝐲 𝐬𝐨𝐥𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐛𝐥𝐞𝐦! I am a solution engineer by design and education (both formal and self-taught). I have built foundational testing software, implemented sustainable production processes, and have been a project manager for a cleanroom expansion to increase productivity. All of these projects and my 18+ years of experience have allowed me to improve and hone my skills and utilize them to find opportunities and create solutions for those protected environments with three things in mind: ✅ Listen to the end-user – the answer is always with them ✅ Opportunity does not mean anything is wrong – improvement equals progress or evolution ✅ Change does not mean loss of employment – maintaining team members is key With that in mind, Keeping You Kids Safe has created a customizable platform that allows each student to effectively communicate their way home while maintaining general communication with the families before and after school. My personal experience makes me a great advocate for child safety, and I understand each department is different, with different goals. I am a very passionate, mission-driven, strong-willed, and an 𝐀𝐌𝐀𝐙𝐈𝐍𝐆 individual who wants to make a difference. I know where I am, and I know where I want to be.
