I always thought my dream was to be a 𝚠𝚛𝚒𝚝𝚎𝚛 for a little indie publishing company, sipping my caramel macchiato and reading my opening lines to the next best-selling wizard novel. It seemed like an appropriate dream given my original English major proclamation. But a spark ignited the instant I showed up in my first 𝚙𝚜𝚢𝚌𝚑𝚘𝚕𝚘𝚐𝚢 course. I didn’t want to write about imaginary people but rather help them IRL. Fast-forward 10 years, I was no longer just sipping caramel macchiatos but 𝚝𝚎𝚊𝚌𝚑𝚒𝚗𝚐 𝚘𝚝𝚑𝚎𝚛𝚜 how to serve cups of happiness to customers. My job title was store manager but I was responsible for finding great people + finding out if they could act with courage, be present, and deliver their very best. Over the last five years, I successfully 𝚜𝚝𝚛𝚎𝚊𝚖𝚕𝚒𝚗𝚎𝚍 𝚘𝚙𝚎𝚛𝚊𝚝𝚒𝚘𝚗𝚜 for a team of over 30 employees by implementing efficient 𝚜𝚌𝚑𝚎𝚍𝚞𝚕𝚒𝚗𝚐 and developing effective metrics for tracking 𝚙𝚛𝚘𝚓𝚎𝚌𝚝 𝚌𝚘𝚖𝚙𝚕𝚎𝚝𝚒𝚘𝚗. I loved working with other coffee junkies at Starbucks while inspiring and nurturing limitless possibilities of human connection- with every cup, with every conversation, with every community at a time. A brand champion at my core, I take care to shepherd the brand through near-term goals with an eye towards the future setting the tone through social community. I have a passion for creativity and an 𝚒𝚗𝚗𝚊𝚝𝚎 𝚌𝚞𝚛𝚒𝚘𝚜𝚒𝚝𝚢 for trends inside and out of pop culture. I can’t get enough of social media and see the ability to drive brand equity and 𝚋𝚛𝚊𝚗𝚍 𝚐𝚛𝚘𝚠𝚝𝚑 through content. I am able to plan and execute content missions, stay organized with content calendars and flex my writing skills through copywriting. I have a BA from Rowan University in Psychology.
