My job role involved assisting, motivating and encouraging children from 6 weeks - 5 years old, to develop personal, social and practical skills in a stimulating environment. Encouraging children's mathematical and creative development through stories, songs, games, drawing and imaginative play. And also ensuring the health and safety of children is maintained during all activities, both inside and outside the nursery.

Administration Assistant: My duties included, acting as a switchboard operator for internal and external calls, also reporting equipment and technical faults and making queries. Use of the HHT system and EPOS for legal checks daily. Use of Outlook Express, Storeline and Q Store daily to assist in keeping prices and store promotions up to date. I also entered and sent orders for the store and responded to dispatch notes, claims and other general administrative duties, such as filing and being first point of contact for external calls and clients.
Cash Office Operator: My duties included daily bank checks, till floating and issuing change to deadlines. 
Checkout Operator: Various duties included cash handling, customer service and stock replenishment. I kept up to date with the current instore promotions, and used this knowledge to assist the customer to guarantee they got the best deals to ensure they would return for continued quality customer service.
