Experienced business and technology executive with over 20 years leading product management, strategy, and customer success at tech giants and startups. I lead AWS Professional Services’ portfolio of generative AI solutions, building an end-to-end business that positions our #OneProServe team to innovate and deliver AI for customers. Before rejoining AWS, I served as Executive Vice President of Generative AI and Real-Time ML at Redis (the most popular open-source in-memory database). I established and led the AI/ML division and enabled the company to catch the Generative AI wave with the introduction of real-time inferencing and vector databases. Also as Redis's Chief Business Officer, I contributed to the company's IPO readiness, and ran all of marketing for 8 months where I led the rebranding of the company. After leaving Redis, I spent my time partnering with Data and AI startups through Recursion Ventures. Before Redis, I led Global Customer Success (Solution Architecture) at Microsoft, building out the global customer success team, and driving revenue consumption for the Azure Data & AI business. Prior to Microsoft, I was an early member of the AWS Developer Relations group, and spent 10 years at AWS establishing and managing AWS Platform's Go-To-Market (GTM) and business development team which was instrumental in driving the $25B annual revenue run-rate circa 2018. I went to the University of Texas at Austin and studied computer science with a specialization in automata theory and knowledge based systems. I’m based in Bellevue, WA. I’m an active lifestyle enthusiast, artist, youth basketball coach, data science instructor, and board member for Kindering, a child-focused non-profit. I also spend my time speaking at conferences on entrepreneurship and innovation.
