Just got off stage here at SaaSOpen in Austin and thought other founders may find this valuable as well 🙏

𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗟𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗻𝘀

1. SAFEs are great but they are not free - watch out for stacking SAFE rounds due to the anti-dilution effects of post-money SAFEs
   
2. 20% in Seed and Series A is still market!
   
3. Bridge rounds layer on additional dilution - and they are more common than ever, whether through priced equity or convertible instruments.
   
4. SaaS founders end up owning widely variable percentages of the company at IPO - there are no right answers here.

Attacks leveraging DEI Narratives Post-Tragedy Vile and reprehensible 🤮

In the wake of the horrific tragedy of the vessel hitting  and subsequent collapse of the Francis Scott Key Bridge it is sad that some choose this time to be divisive. 

Ultimately individuals who use politics to attack efforts on Diversity Equity and Inclusion in the wake of a horrible tragedy where human lives were lost and a city that is reeling are despicable and callous.
