Project Engineer

Albario Engineering (Pvt) Ltd.

Albario Engineering is a technical group that offers services to its business clients. The services lie in the domain of Construction, Power Plants Maintenance, Turnarounds/Outages, Solar Energy, EV chargers etc. AEPL has recently joined hands with 7 countries spanning 3 different continents for Business. 
Assigned to Electrical Services division of department, to perform Testing & Inspection services with the major roles as follows: -
• Performed Electrical Insulation and Winding tests on 
   - Transformers;  - Motors;  - Generators;  - Circuit Breakers;  - Batteries;   - Instrument Transformers
• Maintained integrity of insulation and windings by performing condition assessment tests.
• Rendered solutions for improving process efficiencies of installed electrical machineries to notable clients of Engro, PPL and GE Fieldcore, directly. Concluded 4 major outages across Pakistan, successfully.
• Analyzed problems using OMICRON, Megger and 6 other softwares, along with MV equipments.
• Marketing: Pitched services to previous clients of AEPL. Established contacts with 5-6 various industries including ICI Pakistan, SEPCO III, and Kohat Cement.
• Conducted team's first ever professional training at HUBCO, successfully. Prepared technical materials for team on "Condition Assessment", extending business clientele to above 80 in number.
• Proposed sales pitch plan to Team Manager for services in 6 Gulf Regions (esp. Saudi Arabia) including presentations, key points, data and visual representations.
• Accelerated the movement of tools to team on ground while also supervising the operators/technicians effectively for execution of testing services.

Outages Engineer

Descon Power Solutions (Pvt) Ltd.

Assigned as a trainee engineer to learn and participate in Operational activities of systems of 450 MW Rousch Thermal CCPP (2 GTs, 1 ST)
• Participated in Plant startup and shutdown by compiling these activities on Control Room Log.
• Corrected any leakages or faults present by Line Tracing of Gas, Steam & Water systems via use of 
 P&ID s and SLDs.
• Responsible for informing any abnormalities in working of operating parameters of Gas & Steam 
 Turbines to Shift Charge Engineer. Reviewing Control Room & HV switching logs.
• Point of contact for safety induction of contractors/working parties to minimize count of near 
 misses & lost time injuries.
• Counter checked issuing & cancellation of Work Permits by observing isolations of Mechanical and 
Electrical systems. 
• Ensured tagging of different valves and circuit breakers using LOTO (lock-out-tag-out) method for 
maintenance work.
• Achieved on-time synchronization of machines to National Grid on 10-20 occasions along with ops team while maintaining all KPIs, successfully. 
• Coordinated with Operations Dept. as an Engineer to meet start-up & shutdown demands by NPCC during CoVID. Completed 20-25 startups/shutdowns of plant, successfully.
• Conducted ADC test (Annual Dependable Capacity) with Performance & Technical services department, successfully. Achieved output load of Average Capacity (395 MW) while keeping all environmental factors in check.
• Nurtured HSE department at Rousch by leading 8-12 First-Aid sessions & weekly fire drills. Completed three 6-monthly PM & CM activities for safer operations of Plant.
• Verifying completion of PM and CM activities by Control Room operators for smooth plant operations.  
• Overlooked vendor management for forklift tyre trucks, HSE equipment etc.

Management Trainee Engineer

Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute of Engineering Sciences and Technology

• Fabricated a Carbon Fibre/Epoxy laminated Polymer Matrix Composite using Vacuum Bagging Technique.
• Evaluated the mechanical properties (such as Flexural Strength, Fracture Toughness) by performing Tensile, Bending and Impact tests.
• Analysed and enlisted results in Research Paper, "Natural fibres as promising environmental-friendly reinforcements for polymer composites", published by SAGE.

Research Intern
