New Zealand Defence Force (Army)

Responsible for individual leadership training of the New Zealand Army’s Senior Non-Commissioned Officers (SNCO) in order to provide military personnel with the command and leadership skills necessary for service in the NZ Army.  Roles and duties include:

■	Administration and execution of all SNCO courses
■	Monitor and manage the personal welfare of all SNCO course personnel
■	Evaluate and refine existing systems and procedures to achieve optimum learning efficiency
■	Assist, where required, in the instruction of lessons and testing of students
■	Reviewing and continually improving the courses provided
■	Reporting, planning and compliance duties
■	Manage training development projects in accordance with Army Volumes, Manuals and Publications
■               Comply with and develop Training Management Plans to ensure Training Outcomes are compliant with military requirements
■               Conduct Job Analysis and Competency Analysis
■               Design Learning Outcomes, Assessment and Validation   
■	Managing validation / evaluation programmes
■	Complete end of course reporting writing process

Manager Senior Leadership Course

Responsible for the technical control and co-ordination of all personnel, documentation, administration and resources within the Maintenance Fitting/Welding Section, Armourers Section and Electronics Section within AFV Workshop.  My responsibilities and associated skills in this role include:

■	Operational preparedness of the General Engineering Sections, including equipment, personnel and stores in accordance with the workshop operational outputs
■	Operational duties detailed in workshop Standing Operating Procedures 
■	Management and control of the sections including productivity and efficiency, ensuring production targets are met and ensuring any problems effecting the operation of the platoon are promptly dealt with
■	General administration is completed in a timely and efficient manner
■	Coordinating platoon resources to fulfil production requirements
■	Maintaining reference and instructional documentation
■	Reports and returns pertaining to the sections are completed monthly (state of readiness)
■	Managing platoon stores and equipment, including maintenance, and ensuring all MD502’s (resource accounting) are being controlled correctly 
■	Planning and organising personnel and resources to achieve targets/out-puts
■	Personal development reporting of all platoon members
■	Manage Occupational Health & Safety standards within the sections
■	Manage discipline and operational health and fitness of the GE platoon
■	Manage trade/career development of GE personnel
