Hey there. Thank you for visiting my profile. My name is Tam Quach. My family and I immigrated to the United States from war-torn Vietnam after the fall of Saigon with little more than the clothes on our backs. Growing up with an immigrant mindset meant having a strong work ethic and being scrappy and resourceful. It came with the understanding that no one owes us anything and that we must work hard for everything. It also meant coming up with creative solutions to problems when the odds are stacked against us. My career has been spent in Technology, where I transform Engineering organizations... quickly. This is my passion, and, true to my upbringing, I often have to be scrappy, resourceful, and creative. As the VP of Software Engineering at Aya Healthcare, I lead a team of 400+ amazingly talented individuals. I love talking about and coaching others on leadership, Agile, DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion), team culture, and remote work. My strengths are in Servant Leadership, Agile, SaaS, cloud (Azure), mobile, and AI/ML. Most of my experience has been in the HCM/CRM, Talent Management, and Healthcare space. I have been extremely fortunate to be a leader in multiple hypergrowth organizations. I have been involved in six successful exits (2 IPOs), and I'm always learning something new each time. I serve on multiple Advisory Boards that advocate for the under-represented communities. I strive to be the best example to my two kids and the teams I lead. I have been described as a thoughtful and empathetic leader...with terrible dad jokes. I enjoy sharing my experiences, stories, and mistakes for others to learn from.
