Allex is a simple yet effective, specialist cloud-based project and resource management software, developed for the mechanical engineering, manufacturing, pharmaceutical and automotive industry.

As a key member of the senior leadership team at Allex, I played a pivotal role in leading and managing sales strategies, as well as project initiatives within the manufacturing industry. With a focus on streamlining product development and engineer-to-order projects, I led efforts to implement Allex.ai an agile, cloud-based software solution aimed at increasing transparency and collaboration across teams. My responsibilities extended beyond sales, including the coordination of customer projects, such as implementation, onboarding, and integration.

In addition to driving team development and refining processes, I led cross-functional collaboration to deliver internal projects and external such as events throughout the UK & EMEA regions. Operating at the intersection of sales and project management, I leveraged my expertise to optimise resource allocation, improve project planning and execution, and enhance real-time visibility for better forecasting and increased throughput. My tenure at Allex was characterised by a commitment to driving efficiency and promoting good leadership, ultimately facilitating the successful delivery of projects and the advancement of organisational objectives.

Serving as an apprentice on the board for Equality Commission NI, I had the chance to join the year of monthly board meetings. A non-departmental public body, providing protection against discrimination on the grounds of age, disability, race, sexual orientation, political orientation and gender. An insightful learning experience to witness first hand the change ECNI to a more sustainable and well governed future. 

Working closely with my "board buddy" Jarlath Kearney, to better understand the operations of the commission. With Jarlath, I was able to ask questions about the work the commission carries out and have an insight to the smaller sub-teams who manage the likes of finance, legal and awareness.

Completing the boardroom apprenticeship of 2021 was probably one of the most valuable and worthwhile experiences I have in my career to date. As part of the cohort we were trained on better board governance, presentation skills, financial acumen, leadership and communication skills.

I developed my leadership and project management skils with our group project to deliver good governance recommendations to an example board, I led the team of 10 in successfully completing and delivering a creative presentation to the panel. This project was over 6 months and involved an extensive amount of learning and analysing papers. A truly valuable experience that stays with me to this day.

With over 2 years of experience at Allsop Software, I've served as an Account Manager and Customer Project Manager, specializing in guiding clients within the Food and Beverage industry towards sustainable digital solutions. My role involved consulting with clients to understand their sustainability goals and implementing tailored solutions such as paperless ordering systems, master data management, and native apps for collections and delivery. Focused on reducing carbon emissions, enhancing pricing strategies, and eliminating paper waste, I've successfully led more numerous projects to customers mainly in the Food & Beverage industy both SMB & Enterprise, but also to companies who are manufacturing and producing goods. These projects have not only streamlined operations but also drove 27% business growth.
