I am an investor in early-stage science and technology businesses. Through this role, I sit on a number of company Boards. I love helping the companies I work with to bring their ground-breaking products to market. I am so excited that these innovative products have the potential to change so many lives and livelihoods for the better. Alongside this role, I am also a research director and writer for an influential technology sector analyst and advisory firm. My area of specialism is interpreting economic and market data for the benefit of our clients. I analyse and write about stock markets, venture funding, employment trends, productivity and growth metrics – basically whatever helps to shed light on important economic topics to help leaders of the UK’s tech companies to make informed strategic decisions for their businesses. Technology is such an essential part of all of our futures. I'm keen that the future of UK tech is bright. Outside of science and technology, my other great love is sports. After some health problems, I am now a fitness fanatic and believe strongly in the physical and mental health benefits of being active. I am an advocate for This Girl Can, Sport England’s campaign to encourage more women and girls to become active. And I coach my daughter’s football team.
