I watched an old clip of Wayne Dyer this week talking about kindness — and it stopped me in my tracks.

Not because it was sentimental.
But because it was biological.

Kindness isn’t just a “nice to have.”
It literally changes our chemistry.

Research shows:
– When someone receives kindness, serotonin increases and immunity strengthens
– When someone gives kindness, the same thing happens
– Even witnessing kindness creates the same effect

Think about that for leadership.

Kindness doesn’t weaken performance.
It strengthens humans.

And strong humans build strong teams.

This is why I teach leadership the way I do.

Because leadership isn’t just strategy, targets, or outcomes.
It’s energy.
It’s impact.
It’s what your presence does to the nervous systems around you.

Every interaction a leader has is a signal:
You’re safe.
You matter.
You belong.
Or… the opposite.

Kindness isn’t soft.
It’s powerful.
It’s contagious.
And it’s one of the most underused leadership tools we have.

Lead with kindness — not just because it’s right,
but because it works.

For people.
For performance.
For the world we’re shaping.
