As the Managing Director and CEO of Bajaj General Insurance, one of the largest private sector general insurance companies in India, I lead a team of over 10,000 professionals who are committed to providing innovative and customer-centric insurance solutions. I have been with Bajaj General Insurance for more than two decades, and I am proud to be one of its founding members.

With over 30 years of experience in the insurance industry, I have developed a deep expertise in underwriting, financial analysis, business process, and risk management. I am passionate about simplifying the lives of our customers and making a positive impact on society. I have been recognized with multiple awards for my thought leadership and contribution to the insurance sector. I also serve as the Chairman of the General Insurance Council, the Chairman of the CII National Committee on Insurance and Pensions, and a Board Member of IIRM and IGCC.

Tapan Singhel

A dynamic and versatile corporate leader. Holding an extensive experience of more than three decades in the insurance industry and is one of the founding members of Bajaj Allianz General Insurance, one of the biggest private sector general insurance companies in India, with which he has been associated for more than two decades. Obsessed with simplifying the lives of customers and holds a deep-seated desire to help others and make a difference in society.
