Tara is a multi-skilled professional with a diverse background and a wealth of training and coaching experience. She's contributed to both individual and team performance in the pharmaceutical and educational sectors, enabling Leadership teams, Sales reps, Dentists, Consultants and NHS nurses to become better communicators. Originally a trained actress from the prestigious East 15 Drama School, Tara worked for many years at the BBC appearing in over 150 plays, and as a regular character in two long running BBC radio soaps. After becoming a voice over artist for the flagship BBC Newsnight current affairs programme she sidestepped into Radio Presenting for a while with her own show on Hot Radio. She has voiced many corporate films and e- learning educational modules. She is a visiting lecturer in Radio Acting at the Arts University Bournemouth and recently started narrating audiobooks for Audible. Tara’s life changed significantly when as a young mother she had a son with severe ‘Receptive Language Delay’ and ADHD. Researching the issues led to retraining in NLP and becoming a practitioner ever since. Originally helping her son (now a professional journalist) and disaffected BTEC drama students, she realised the power of NLP in training for industry. A fascination with the impact of language on emotional state, she spent some time mid-career as a Clinical Hypnotherapist and during her 5-year practice she utilised her voice and NLP skills to create rapport and instigate change in her clients. As a Trainer and coach Tara intricately blends NLP and theatrical skills to bring some innovation to a business environment. Notably, she is the founder of The Dominick Method, a pioneering two-step technique, designed to enhance professional performance by coaching speakers to augment their charisma and confidence. Noticing that time is of the essence in the business world, she bucked traditional time consuming and often ineffective Presentation skills formats, and designed a method that is a fast- track route to authentic outstanding performance. She has coached hundreds of people in her method across all business contexts. Additionally, her pursuits as an author and artist reflect her creative spirit. Tara's is currently collaborating with the charity Generation Aid to run an art project in the Kakuma Refugee camp in Kenya. She is a motivational speaker dedicated to empowering people to develop and blossom in their careers. Awards: Millennium award winner for her work with Dyslexia.
