EMPLOYMENT DEVELOPMENT OFFICER (March 2015 - present)
●  Develop and generate employment opportunities for students and alumni from the local community, across Canada and internationally
●  Research labour market, industry trends and understand employers' hiring needs
●  Using client relationship management strategies, develop relationships with employers

ACTING EMPLOYMENT DEVELOPMENT OFFICER (September 2014 - March 2015)
●  Generated co-op and career opportunities for students and alumni
●  Coordinated job development trips for colleagues to promote the University of Victoria's co-op programs and students

PLACEMENT COORDINATOR (November 2009 - September 2014)
●  Liaised between students and employers to confirm co-op work placements
●  Advised students in their job search including resumes, cover letters and interview techniques
●  Assisted international students with co-op work permits
●  Co-instructor for a career readiness course, ENGR 130 teaching 500+ students each year
●  Facilitator for the Instructional Skills Workshop, Learning and Teaching Centre, UVIC

Employment Development Officer

Royal BC Museum

●  Provided confidential administrative services to six Executive Directors
●  Maintained calendars, scheduled travel arrangements and screened phone calls for Executive office

Executive Assistant

BC Ministry of Forests

●  During this summer, term position, received telephone reports of forest fire activity in the Province of
British Columbia
●  Relayed these reports using sophisticated software that mapped fire fighting operations including the deployment of aircraft
●  Developed an orientation manual for new staff

My curiosity has also led me on a path of holistic health, sailing, fiction writing and voiceover work. Although I am no longer practicing, I am certified in several holistic therapies. 

New this year, I have joined the Board of Directors for Island Women in Science and Technology and am pursing a micro credential course in Web Development through Emily Carr University.
