I am an enthusiastic, curious, and determined second-year business management and economics student at De Montfort University who loves to learn new things every day. I acknowledge the importance of teamwork, ability to work under stress and communication skills through the various roles I have partaken in the past. I am multi-lingual, Punjabi, Hindi, English, Italian, French and part of German. Speaking several languages allows me to communicate and connect with a larger range of people, which is essential as there is a diverse range of people in society. I am keen in having a wonderful experience where I will be able to put into practice my knowledge and skills. My first work experience was being a customer advisor. By playing this role I learned how to interact with customers by being friendly and kind, which boosted my communication skills. And I improved my management skills by prioritising jobs over others, setting targets, setting deadlines and being punctual. By working in this place, I first acknowledged the importance of being able to work in a team. I also have worked as a team leader at Eddie Stobart and I had lot of responsibilities from which I learned to manage a team, to solve problems, to trace and examine the incoming and outgoing goods, to be organised, to do the paperwork, to achieve the company's goals, to be a clear communicator, to teach, to be fair and kind, to be positive and to be a good learner.
