Utilised Business Process Models to create ‘As is ‘and ‘To Be’ Processes for the electronic-prescribing deployment unit.

Performed regression testing, smoke testing, scenario testing, issue management and resolution on the e-prescribing deployment unit working through the full life cycle of the deployment project, as well as providing Early Life Support for Go Live of this deployment unit.

Investigated, analysed, prioritised and resolved up to 5 high risk issues on build cycles and escalated highly technical issues to the technical triage team. Completed both regression and smoke testing for the Care Management deployment unit.

Established and maintained effective relationships, with both internal and external customers, to ensure smooth delivery of builds.

Conducted document reviews for the e-prescribing deployment unit, to evaluate the accuracy of training documents. Presented knowledge transfer sessions as required.

PRODUCT CONSULTANT

Birmingham Children's Hospital Foundation Trust

Researched evaluated and short listed 3 companies before purchasing the Electronic Quality Management System (EQMS), to enable the implementation of the quality management system. Negotiated contractual terms and procurement with a budget of £8000.  

Customised the EQMS to meet the requirements of the Trust, managed the implementation and roll out training to 8 end users.

Worked closely with clinicians and the coding department to improve clinical coding for the speciality and facilitated service improvements which led to increased accuracy in recording of procedures thereby increasing the financial income to the speciality.

Invited by the Finance Director to be part of a Rapid Improvement team for improving the clinical coding process across the Trust in recognition of the outstanding work undertaken in improving clinical coding within Haematology.

Researched and recommended a new costing structure for the stem cell transplants as it was out of date and no longer relevant to the procedures carried out.

Provided a comprehensive administration service to the Director of Pharmacy including diary management, meetings and recruitment. 

Led a team of 3; performance managed, set objectives, wrote training plans and built capability across the team.

Instigated the overhaul of the drug information updates to pharmacists as it transpired they were not receiving the information in a timely fashion and because the updates were sent as round robins, they did not always reach the next person. Set up a shared drive with relevant information and hyperlinks to the weekly updates. This proved very popular. 

Created a shared drive to enable the administrative staff to carry out tasks efficiently for the Director of Pharmacy it reduced downtime when staff was unavailable and Complied with data protection and confidentiality regulations. 

Organised recruitment and selection for the department created a bank of questions for consistency and for a smoother selection process.

Administration Manager Pharmacy

Aligned national standards for JACIE accreditation (stem cell transplant program), and manual of cancer services measures to departmental functioning. 

Maintained the transplant database to ensure appropriate income into the Trust.

Project managed the move of the speciality to the new hospital, involved change management and process improvement. 

Excellent organisation and planning ensured a smooth transition, and delivery of the project on time and to budget.

De-commissioned the previous premises according to guidance, documented and labelled each crate for easy identification when transferred to the new premises.

Represented speciality issues and considerations relevant to the successful implementation of IMPAC a new IT system for Haematology & Oncology. Coached 10 end users on the system and procedures to be used.

Achieved accreditation for JACIE standards, which was an 18-month project. 

Undertook risk management and hazard identification for the speciality.

Quality Manager Haematology

Provided administrative services to the department, arranged meetings.

Achieved level 1 compliance with the NHS Litigation Authority standards it was previously 0 thereby reducing the insurance premium for the Trust.  Commendation received from the inspector for the quality of documentation presented in evidence.
Instructed consultants about completion of their GMC consultant appraisal documents.

employed position which entailed some administrative work:
I had to write to event's organisers, send promotional material to my regular customers,
issue purchase orders, and invoices and do some simple bookkeeping,
Organising book parties.  I set up a customer database using Access and used this with
mail merge to send out the promotional mailing to my customers
Building a team:  I had a team of 4 part of my remit was to motivate and coach my team. 
I did this by holding regular team meetings and bi-monthly newsletter.

Having been running my compliance business for  over 10 years I have decided that it no longer  fills me with joy.  I decided I would do the work that makes my heart sing and I believe is my soul purpose.  I am using my  MBit Master Coach, NLP Master Coach and My ILM7 knowlwedge and skills to support individuals and teams to find their inner wisdom and therefore  be able to  have the lifestyle they want by reaching their goals.  

One of my programmes I am developing is my Sprint Programme which is a 21 day programme to help those who are newly diagnosed as pre diabetic to turn it around by using the tools I cover in the 21 day programme. I am really excited by this as I  have done this myself and  the tools I have put in has worked.
