I have always loved solving problems - whether it’s the classic Sudoku puzzle in the newspaper or a frustrating new user signup flow. I thrive on aligning thoughtful UI/UX and engineering with business objectives and strategy to solve core customer challenges. Working in Product at a remote startup has meant 2+ years of ruthless prioritization, aligning multiple stakeholders, and saying no a lot (with valid reasoning, of course). It's also meant gaining a strong appreciation for balancing a customer-centric mindset with strategic business needs/direction. After an organizational restructure, I was promoted to sole Product Manager on our team quickly tasked with managing the full product lifecycle - from ideation, development, and launch, through to evaluation, and repeat! All of which has allowed me to refine my strategic thinking, negotiation, and communication skills. I am passionate and experienced in a variety of tasks and industries: product-led growth, conducting user interviews, translating user needs into actionable requirements, crafting user stories, wireframing/prototyping, UI/UX, user onboarding, product launch, marketplaces, product demos, roadmapping, product strategy, quantitative & qualitative analysis, advocating for customers, marketing, customer success, community management, education, startups. I’m also a huge believer in work hard, play hard. So, outside of work you can typically find me: - Playing games (huge board game geek 🤓) - Fixated on a new tv or movie (always open to a good recommendation 📺) - Exploring a new neighbourhood… (ok I mean a new coffee shop with a caramel latte ☕️) - Trying a new skill (right now, I’m learning basic web development! 👩🏽‍💻)
