Tatyana Angelova is a Professor at Sofia University, Faculty of Slavic Studies. She is Ph.D. on Methodology of Bulgarian Language Teaching. Her Ph.D. thesis is about writing composition in secondary school. T. Angelova is a lecturer at Department of Bulgarian Language and Literature Teaching. She teaches at BA, MA and Ph.D. courses. The field of her main interest is teacher education and assessment of writing skills of students in Bulgarian. She deals with integrating of ICT in Teacher Education and E-Learning in high Education also. T. Angelova has also participated in various national and international conferences and meetings, devoted to active methods of learning, critical thinking, assessment of writing skills, assessment by language tests proficiency in Bulgarian and so on. Her publications are over 100. T. Angelova is an author of textbooks for 5th -12th grades in Bulgarian secondary school. Key Qualification: National Research Coordinator for Bulgaria – International Study PIRLS’2006 (Progress in International Reading Literacy Study). Over 10 years’ experience as a Bulgarian Language and Literature teacher in secondary school, 30 years' experience as a lecturer on Methodology of Bulgarian Language teaching in High school. Provider of in-service training to teachers of Bulgarian Language and literature in Bulgaria.
