Account Executive

Trans 99 Logistics

- Reporting directly to the Vice President (Logistics) and heading the Account Management Team to define strategic direction and objectives
- Managing Key Account Customers and their freight movements
- Responsible for RFQ's and Spot Bidding for Future & Live Loads
- Interact with the freight companies pertaining to the Negotiation of pricing, dealing with all issues and their Contract Management
- Proactively communicate pertinent shipment details to/from motor carriers and our internal team
- Manage Customers & Carriers and develop strong relationships and operational understandings
- Helping match Carrier preferred lanes with Freight
- Interact with the Customs Brokers for shipments crossing the border
- Continually source new carriers for Portfolio
- Coordination for Payment of invoices Received/Sent
- Experience using Transplus, Loadlink, DAT, Truckstop, TMW CRM Softwares
- Knowledge of multi-state geography
- Ability to organize, prioritize and problem solve
- Exceptional Negotiation Skills
- Able to work in a fast paced, detail oriented environment
