I've got the bug. Growing up, my dream was to become a professional footballer, much like many kids growing. This dream grew more into reality, as I signed my first contract for Chelsea at 9 years old. Four years went by, and the dream continued as I worked my way through the academy system. Unfortunately, my physical stature and strength at the time let me down and the dream came crashing down with Chelsea no longer offering me another contract. This saddening event at the time broke my heart, it crushed my dream, which I'd worked so hard for, for so long. However, it sculpted me to become who I am today. Fast forward to the present day and I'm now a lot stronger mentally (and physically, thanks to the gym). It has made me fearless in executing, and relentless in trying. So, what did I mean at the beginning when I said I've got the bug? Well... after graduating with a degree in International Business, I took some time to focus on finding my true passion and purpose, something that could help sculpt my next dream. This new dream sparked instantly, at the time I came across the yellow paper for Ethereum written by Dr Gavin Wood. It opened my eyes to a vision of a decentralised world powered by decentralised apps. I spent months from this point learning the history, use cases and applications of Bitcoin and Ethereum. This took me down the rabbit hole of many weird and wonderful applications and visions of the future. I then travelled to countless events in London and Dubai to meet and connect with those that had the same ideas and could help bring this to life. So I guess I caught the web3 bug. I am now pursuing a dream of helping brands enter into web3, the right way. Avoiding the many mistakes I've seen along my journey whilst adopting the true values and ethos which were mentioned so many times in the Ethereum and Bitcoin whitepapers.
