Once I have assembled my team, I focus on establishing collaborative working relationships through internal staff kickoffs and creating an open forum for discussion. I consider other team members’ experiences and draw on others’ expertise to help guide project completion. As an active creator, I take on additional projects to develop new processes, systems, engagement activities, and jobs. I love bringing the company together with the community, which led to 5 consecutive annual awards at iQVIA for organizing companywide community service events. Among these were our Annual Habitat for Humanity build, Harvesters back-to-school event, several 5K races, and Christmas in October (providing home repairs, yard clean up, painting, and finding volunteer Plumbers, Electricians, and other contractors). I have experience as a member of a nonprofit and I am the founder of Leaders in Clinical Research (LRC). As a survivor, I volunteer and share my own story with several women’s organizations. In my spare time, I have become an amateur photographer and love capturing birds and wildlife.
