More and more, I am seeing a concerning trend. On the surface, it might seem harmless. But let’s talk about it openly here. It's the usage on profiles that: I'm a "UEFA Licence Coach." Why? Because what does that really mean? UEFA A? UEFA B? UEFA C? Here’s the issue: The title "UEFA Licence" is ambiguous. I’ve noticed (more often than not) that it’s used by UEFA C Licence coaches. Coaches who may be leaving room for assumption. (And only 12 months ago just completed an online Introduction to Coaching) ↓ Let's be honest. There’s nothing to gain by creating a perception of being more experienced than you are. • You cannot skip the years • You cannot skip the hours on the grass • You definitely cannot skip the setbacks that shaped you It took me 3 years to pass my UEFA A Licence. There were moments where I thought: "Am I ever going to pass this?" But those 3 years taught me everything. → To be more coachable → To be more detailed → To be more planned → To be more clear So wherever you are right now in your journey… Own it, learn from it and be proud of it. Because although the game recognises titles. It respects the work much more. P.S. Have you seen this trend? It's not obvious to many. (♻️ Repost to remind others: don’t rush it)
