Kia ora Whanau, my name is Te Omeka Ote Haahi Ratana Morehu. My mother Rangimarie Morehu was from the Hokianga/Nga Puhi/Te Rarawa/Ngati Kahu. My father Temepara Morehu is from Woodhill/Ngati Whatua. My mountain is Tauwhare. My waters are the Kaipara/Watemata Harbour. My maraes are Ongarahu and Orakei. I was born and raised in Mahurangi West and went to school at Warkworth Primary then Mahurangi College then the University of Waikato where I ended up with a Bachelor of Science majoring in Applied Computing. I have a family of 4 kids (19,16,8,5 as of 2021) and a wife that is a writer, editor, director. I love moving, playing music, being creative and following my heart to ensure there are more smiling faces on this planet at any one time.
