📣 What if midlife didn't have to be a crisis? What if you were informed, supported and motivated to envision a different future self than the one you see now? 🎙️ As a menopause specialist and movement coach, I'm passionate about helping women understand the impact they can have on their health through movement. Moving our bodies effectively leads to body awareness, which leads to confidence, which leads to transformation. Since losing both of my parents to cancer in their 60's I've been radically dedicated to my health. I'm here to help you get dedicated to yours. 👩🏽‍💻 Sitting at our desks for 8 hrs a day puts our health and wellbeing at a disadvantage. Our bodies were designed to hunt and gather, yet we are using a small fraction of our body's range of motion and strength during an average day. What if we could use our bodies' strengths while we work, and enhance brain function while we are at it, for clearer focus and productivity? 🚶🏼‍♂️ Moving every 30 minutes significantly improves mood and has amazing health benefits. Recent studies show that incorporating movement into your workday can lower blood sugar levels by 40% and blood pressure levels 4 to 5 points. If you are sitting at your desk and are experiencing low energy, back pain, brain fog and low productivity, adding gentle and effective movement is a simple change that can make a significant impact. 🧘🏻‍♂️ The menopause transition is something that affects us all, whether you are a woman or whether you have women in your life. This natural milestone is only more recently being researched and discussed. Bringing menopause into DEI forums and other workplace spaces helps our workforce stay engaged in critical work and helps the whole organism flourish. Women are leaving the workplace at an alarming rate since they feel embarrassed, stigmatized and unsupported. What can you do to change this? ✨As a psychology major, exercise professional and menopause coach, I have combined my passion for women's health, fitness and behavior.
