2045 is a unique community for influential professionals of color. It includes online tools and a real-world clubhouse. Members can join small, private groups guided by expert coaches, participate in groups based on shared interests, attend unique events, enjoy specially selected articles and discussions, and use resources to support and advance a diverse workforce.

These small groups, or Councils, are for members whose companies support their participation, showing the importance of investing in diverse employees' growth. The Interest Groups allow members to connect over shared interests. Our content and events are designed by leading cultural figures, who we see as making a significant difference in society.

As an advisor on Channel Partnerships and Experiential Marketing, I have had several notable achievements. For instance, I collaborated with the Bôhten team to create, pitch, and execute a successful experiential event at the Nordstrom NYC Flagship store on Broadway. I also sourced a panelist for the event, Paul Ninson, who recently launched the Dikan Center in collaboration with his business partner, Brandon Stanton, the creator of Humans of New York. The Dikan Center is Africa's most extensive photography library recently opened in Accra, Ghana. I also helped secure an initial investment of $250K to develop the "Bôhten Fit" and sourced funds for the Vision Expo NYC 2023 Tradeshow.

As a Saison Expert, I specialize in identifying and evaluating early-stage investment opportunities with the potential for high growth and profitability. Saison Capital is the corporate venture capital arm of Credit Saison, a Tokyo-listed consumer finance company with $30 billion in assets under management and one of Japan's largest credit card issuers. Our investment focuses on companies globally, with a preference for Southeast Asia and India, from Pre-Seed to Series B stages. We invest across various verticals, including SaaS, marketplaces, and fintech, with a particular interest in embedded finance - non-fintech companies and industry leaders seeking to establish fintech arms within their ecosystems.

My career journey at LinkedIn began in an intrapreneurial role as part of the first Community Management Team for Africa. This internal startup-like team was instrumental in the successful launch of LinkedIn News Africa, where we grew the platform's followers from 0 to over 250K during my tenure.

As the Creator Manager for Africa, I honed my skills in content creator support, mentoring over 100 content creators on LinkedIn and guiding them in developing and implementing best practices. I also onboarded over 10 African Top Voices, expanding our vibrant community and cultivating diverse voices on the platform.

As part of an internal restructuring, I transitioned into LinkedIn's Editorial Team, taking on the role of North America Creator Manager Lead for The Sales and Business Development Thought Leadership Community. This move, not a promotion but a strategic shift, leveraged my previous experience and skills to nurture a new and dynamic community of thought leaders in North America's sales and business development sectors.

In this role, I conceived, pitched, and helped weave together a successful book launch event for a Hall of Fame Marketer, with an engagement rate exceeding the benchmark by a remarkable 200%. This demonstrated my ability to manage high-impact events and stimulate community interaction and engagement, critical skills within a startup and editorial environment.

Despite the geographical and structural changes, my mission remained consistent: to source, nurture, uplevel, and retain critical voices on the platform. My efforts in Africa and as the North American lead played a crucial role in empowering content creators and professionals to connect with opportunities, exchange knowledge, and build their skills. These collective efforts have helped shape the LinkedIn community, assisting others in finding their community and developing their voices.

TEDxAccra is a grassroots initiative aligned with TED's mission to discover and spread "ideas worth sharing." Our local TEDx events bring the TED spirit to communities worldwide, featuring live speakers and recorded TED Talks curated by passionate individuals seeking to spark conversations in their communities. While TEDx events operate independently under a free license granted by TED, we follow guidelines for curation, speaker coaching, event organizing, and more to ensure high-quality programming. With over 3000 events held annually, the TEDx community continues to grow.

As Co-lead for Strategic Partnerships at the Ghana Tech Summit, I collaborated with entrepreneurs, investors, digital marketers, and creatives to address the world's most significant challenges through technology and entrepreneurship. The Summit is a part of the Global Startup Ecosystem's 13-year initiative, which provides digital acceleration to 1,000 companies annually across 190+ countries. In 2018, the event featured keynote speakers from prominent companies such as Google, Facebook, Uber, Airbnb, Twitter, IBM, Microsoft, and others. Over 40 media representatives from respected outlets such as Forbes, Inc Magazine, Fast Company, Black Enterprise, and the New York Times attended.
