Supply Chain/Production Coordinator

Reported directly to Logistics Manager.  Managed all logistics operations related to handset imports process from headquarters (origin point) to customer’s warehouse, with an average monthly budget of 400,000 USD.  Performed custom broker and custom clearance process. 
•	Reduced cargo losses by 50%, by implementing new security procedures for customs clearance and transportation.
•	Improved delivery times and broker’s process compliance by implementing a KPI for each of them, based on delivery times for maritime and air shipments.
•	Initiated communication improvements with brokers that lead to better delivery times and increased customer satisfaction.

Logistics Coordinator

Handle the import process from Cadivi (Currency Exchange Control Institution) to warehouse arrival .
Communication with international suppliers.
Reported to the Purchasing Manager. Directed all equipment logistics operations from supplier’s warehouse to company’s warehouse, following currency exchange control and customs regulations. Controlled budget of $150K per project. Responsible for an assistant. 

•	Reduced customs process times by 40% for maritime shipments, 25% for air shipments, by implementing Key Performance Indicators to the custom broker.
•	Decreased operating costs by 35%, through improved internal administrative processes for duties payments and customs broker process.
•	Negotiated better tariffs for transportation and local expenses with logistics operators.

Imports Coordinator

Reported to the Purchasing Manager. Supported National and International Purchasing Coordinators by requesting quotations and sending PO’s to suppliers. Checked the HS code for each International supplier’s invoice and send it to outsourced currency exchange control operator.

•	Reduced errors by 50% on HS codes for currency exchange control and customs, by creating a tracking database.
•	Sourced and negotiated price and delivery schedule for a critical installation part for a project through a new supplier, ultimately avoiding a costly stock shortage. Initiated detailed follow up activities with the customs broker, as part of the imports cost control process
