With 20 years of experience in the upstream oil and gas industry, I am passionate about building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, developing and implementing effective business strategies, and delivering value to customers and partners. I have a master's degree in global energy management from the University of Colorado Denver, which equips me with the knowledge and skills to navigate the complex and dynamic energy landscape. As the US Business Strategist at AES Drilling Fluids, I am responsible for expanding market share and enhancing profitability for the company, which provides customized drilling fluid solutions to the oil and gas sector. I collaborate with the marketing and sales departments to ensure alignment with overall business objectives and maximize the impact of promotional activities. I also monitor and evaluate the performance of implemented strategies, making data-driven adjustments as needed to optimize results. Additionally, I leverage my network and expertise to identify growth opportunities, analyze industry trends, and establish and maintain strong relationships with current and potential clients, drilling contractors, and other service providers. Besides my role at AES Drilling Fluids, I am also a co-owner of KTX Fit, a fitness center that offers CrossFit and other programs, and a host of two podcasts on the oil and gas industry: Wicked Energy with JG The Flowline. These experiences reflect my interests and values in health, wellness, education, and communication. I enjoy coaching and mentoring other professionals in the art of deal-making and negotiation, as well as sharing my insights and perspectives on the energy sector.
