I want to build the best external design and consultancy service a product company could wish for. Sounds a bit presumptuous, I know, but that's what I'm aiming for. For over a decade I have been designing products and experiences in and for leading design agencies and companies of almost any size, helping them to create distinctive solutions that delight customers, drive business success, and sometimes even win prestigious awards. In doing so, I have noticed time and again that where large corporations and global brands staff their internal development departments with numerous experts or hire renowned consulting and design agencies, most small and medium-sized companies do not have the capacity, workload, experience or financial resources to do the same. As a result, many great companies fail as the experience they deliver to their customers isn’t as good as it could and must be. That inspired me to found Baselift, a subscription-based design firm, because I believe that every company should have access to strategic and holistic design expertise.
