My job is to help separated parents talk with each other about their children - to make parenting plans, and to help separated couples talk about their property settlement. I use the facilitative model, because it suits my personality and I see great results when parties truly engage in their own conversations. I have a job because communication is difficult and sometimes people need a mediator to find solutions and make plans.
