Marketing
* Marketing research & competitive analysis: Research competitors' marketing & adverting strategies.
* Search engine marketing: Research, create, and optimize Google Ads campaigns.
* Blog content planning & review.
* Write landing page copy, and work closely with the design & the tech team to ship the landing pages.
* Planning & executing email marketing campaigns.

Product
I've also worked closely with the design & the tech team to build Borderer (A web-based video styling app), and a few video tools based on ffmpeg wasm (video merger, video cropper, video format converter, srt to text converter). 

My role in these projects has been: 
- Researching existing products, their tech stack & marketing strategy.
- Talking to customers, requirement gathering & product planning. 
- Working with the design team to plan the user workflow and landing pages.
- Coordinating with the tech team to build the tools.
- Manual testing & QA.
- Writing landing page copy and how-to guides.

Special Projects

MakerValley

MakerValley was a makerspace/innovation lab that helped students & entrepreneurs turn their ideas into reality through rapid prototyping & digital fabrication services. We also partnered with local & global organizations to host design challenges and hackathons & supported Hult Prize teams in refining ideas. 

Event & Design Challenges:
Impact Week Nepal 2019 — in collaboration with Lufthansa Group Germany and Impact Week & King’s College Nepal. 

Data And The City Design Challenge 2019 — in collaboration with Utiopi. Curated & co-facilitated Design Thinking workshop to re-imagine urban mobility & urban informality. 

Kathmandu Mini Makerfaire 2018. Curated & co-facilitated Design Thinking Workshops in all 7 provinces, recruited and facilitated 10 Volunteers. Supported in event logistics 

Assistive Technology Hackathon, 2018. Raised Rs.200,000 in sponsorship, managed logistics, and managed participants onboarding (140+ engineers participated.

Impact Week Nepal 2019

Impact week Nepal 2019 is a design challenge organized by King’s College in partnership with Impact Week and MakerValley.  As a Project Coordinator, I 

* Designed concept note and proposal.
* Reached out to colleges, students, and media for outreach and promotion.
* Coordinated the local and international team and track partners.
* Managed procurement and logistics. 
* Managed participants selection and onboarding (120+ participants).
* Made sure the program was on schedule.

International coaches came to Nepal to train over 120 participants on the mindset of a human-centered designer, the method, and how it can be applied to create solutions that bring maximum impact.

* Curated and co-facilitated multiple Design Thinking Workshops (in all 7 provinces of Nepal).
* Led event outreach and promotion, formed provincial connections.
* Recruited and facilitated 10 Volunteers 
* Organized workshops and press meetup.

Assistive Technology Hackathon, 2018

AT-Hackathon was a unique program, where over 140 participants worked with 50+ differently-abled people, to hack their problems. The program was based on the design thinking model. 
For the event, I was responsible for 
* Bringing in sponsorship (Rs.200,000 raised)
* Event outreach and promotion
* Managing logistics
* Organizing sessions on design thinking, value propositions, and idea pitching

Karkhana

Maker Mentor is an internship program offered at Karkhana. As a Maker Mentor, you can help enhance the learning experiences of young students (between ages of 8 – 14) using technology, art, and making.

Karkhana is an education company. We are a co-curricular after-school program with a unique approach to learning. Our teachers - engineers, designers, artists, scientists - turn the classroom into a lab for discovery. We want our students to gain one key insight: the world is malleable.

Our workshops are designed to teach concepts from Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics (STEAM) simultaneously
