Working with the operations team at all levels of the business to support, coach and mentor with continuous improvement activities. Zodiac is a global company and has been implementing Quick Response Quality Control (QRQC) across its sites throughout the world. A large part of my work here is to support the operations team to engender a continuous improvement mindset within the business to move away from the traditional fire fighting culture that has existed for many years.
Supporting the roll out of QRQC across all UK sites and business units.
As a QRQC Fellow I trained groups and individuals at all levels of the business from shop floor to directors.
Initially ran meetings with team owners and continued to coach and mentor them until self sufficient.
Assisted with the co-ordination of the overall QRQC Deployment project for Zodiac Seats in the UK.

Responsible for the implementation, management and improvement of a manufacturing cell comprising of sheet metal, fabrication and mechanical assembly. Additional responsibility for machine shop and water jet cutting.
Developing and implementing strategies in manufacturing to support the growth of the business.
Responsibility for the day to day running of 3 manufacturing areas. Managing priorities, capacity and people to meet the demands of the business.
Defining and implementing a strategy for the machine shop with 1 machine replacement complete and a further 2 planned. The purpose is to create flexibility and agility to meet the varied demands of the business. Also to take pressure from the bottleneck machines.
Implemented Kanbans throughout the machine shop and filter cell to control the supply of common product parts.
Leading a lean project to improve productivity of Microscreen manufacture giving a 50% increase in output and an 8 week reduction in lead time.
