“I’m getting interviews. That’s not the issue.” That’s what two leads told Scott, one of my client coaches, last week.   And they almost walked away because of it. Until he asked one simple question:   “How many applications did you send last month?” One said 200. The other said 40. Then he pulled out the calculator. 200 apps → 5 interviews = 2.5% 40 apps → 3 interviews = 7.5% And he asked:   “What if we could confidently triple that success rate?  What would that mean for you?” Suddenly, it clicked. They didn’t need to work harder. They needed a better system. They didn’t need more hustle. They needed smarter strategy. Both closed by the end of the call. This is why hiring a career coach isn’t a luxury.   It’s leverage. And if you’re a coach reading this, take notes. Because knowing how to deliver transformation is one thing.   But knowing how to communicate it in a way that lands? That’s the difference between a helpful conversation and a paying client. Learning how to sell doesn’t mean being pushy.   It means helping people see the real problem before they waste more time solving the wrong one. That’s the kind of work we do inside my program. Because great coaches deserve great businesses. Reshare ♻️ to help others who need to hear this. And follow me for more posts like this.

Sarah* had been job searching for two years.   She had the experience.   She was putting in the applications.   She was doing “everything right.” And still nothing. No traction. No callbacks. No momentum. Then something changed. She joined a program led by Yonelly, one of the career coaches I work with. They started from scratch.   They rebranded her from “experienced admin” to “project leader.”   They rebuilt her resume and LinkedIn to match that identity.   They got clear on what she actually wanted and stopped chasing what she didn’t.   They worked on her mindset.   Not “maybe I can.”   But “I already am.” 45 days later, a recruiter reached out.   No job posting.   No application.   Just an invite to the final round. That call turned into an offer.   $104K.   Her first job in her target industry.   A 38% increase from her last role. It wasn’t magic or secrets. Just clarity, strategy, and a coach who knew how to help her connect the dots. So if you’re in the middle of your own two-year search… Or you’re starting to wonder if something’s wrong with you… Let this be a reminder that you’re not broken. You’re just too close to your own story.   And sometimes, the fastest way forward is having someone help you tell it better. You don’t need to apply harder. You need to position smarter. The right opportunity might already be looking for you. Reshare if someone in your network needs to hear this today. *her name was changed for privacy purposes

Today I turn 35. The age my father never reached. This number haunted me for years. One day, he was fine. Two weeks later, gone to pancreatitis. Living in this shadow, I packed more life into 35 years than most do in 70. I became obsessed with time. Every minute counted. No waste allowed. But today, something changed. The weight is lifting. I’m not just surviving past a deadline. I’m building a legacy. The foundation is solid. The experience is banked. Now I’m swinging for the fences. My next chapter isn’t about outrunning time. It’s about making it count in bigger ways. I’ve got plans. Bold ones. The kind that outlive you. Life isn’t just precious anymore, it’s abundant. And I intend to use every hour of it. I thought I was dreaming big before. Now I see my limiting beliefs. With time on my side, my vision has expanded. What I once called ambitious was just the warm-up. I have never felt more alive. Watch what happens next.

Most career coaches don’t fail because they’re not working hard. They fail because they don’t know where to focus. In the beginning, it’s obvious, you wear every hat.   You coach. You sell. You post. You follow up. You figure it out. But as you grow, that same hustle becomes a trap.   You’re busy, but not scalable. You’re making money, but not consistently. You’re doing everything, but not sure what’s actually moving the needle. That’s why we built this. A step-by-step blueprint that shows you what to build and in what order. Here’s how we help coaches scale to $80K/month and beyond: 1. Optimize Your Personal Life Make sure your mindset, savings, and schedule are ready for the next level. 2. Build a World-Class Offer Pick one niche. Solve one problem. Make the outcome obvious. 3. Set Up Predictable Lead Generation Use LinkedIn to bring in 100+ leads/month without relying on paid ads. 4. Qualify Leads into Sales Calls Pre-call filters, CRMs, and a booking system that saves your time. 5. Close High-Ticket Clients Consistently Build a repeatable, no-pressure sales process that converts. 6. Deliver Exceptional Client Results Use onboarding, tracking, and accountability to create wins at scale. 7. Build & Train a Lean Team Hire the right support so you can stay in your zone of genius. 8. Automate and Document Everything Systematize everything that happens more than once. 9. Protect and Expand Your Profit Margins Track expenses. Price intentionally. Stay above 50% margins. 10. Add Legal & Expert Support Bring in CPAs, lawyers, and consultants so you can scale smart. No fluff. No guesswork. Just the right steps in the right order. If you’re growing but unsure where to focus next, save this. It’s the roadmap. We're looking for 3 people who want to earn $10k to 80k a month in the next 3 to 6 months. If you’re ready to start scaling, DM us.

I went from $85K/year in my career coaching business to $85K+ monthly. Most career coaches struggle because they don’t know the secret to generating consistent $10K months. Using my Career Coach Accelerator framework, I've discovered the 5 critical secrets that transformed my business, and I’m sharing them with you: → Secret #1: The High-Ticket Framework that will transform how you pitch your coaching services (and make more money faster) → Secret #2: Why LinkedIn is the best platform to get clients and exactly how often you should post to maximize results → Secret #3: How to unlock the goldmine of warm leads instead of relying solely on inbounds and referrals → Secret #4: The "80-10-10 Rule" that helps you identify your ideal client profile → Secret #5: The most powerful lead magnet for converting prospects into high-paying clients These are the secrets that help my clients average $13,288/mo, generate 267 organic leads monthly, and build 6 and 7-figure career coaching businesses. Comment "10K" and I'll send you my complete video breakdown. Make sure we're connected first.

Here’s a question I get more than you’d think: “How much should I charge for my coaching program?” It’s a tough one because pricing feels personal. Too low and you wonder if clients will value you. Too high and you worry you’ll scare them off. I’ve seen coaches struggle for months, tweaking prices, guessing, and second-guessing. But here’s what I tell them: Price your program based on the real value you deliver. Specifically, between 2% to 5% of your client’s first-year salary offer. - Lower-touch programs = around 2% - Hybrid programs = around 4% - High-touch, one-on-one intensive programs = around 5% If your clients are landing $100,000 jobs, that means: - $2,000 for a low-touch program - $4,000 for a hybrid - $5,000 for a high-touch offer This simple formula shifts the conversation from “What if they say no?” To “Is this price fair for what I help them earn?” It gives coaches confidence. And clients a clear reason to say yes. If pricing your program feels like a guessing game, try this instead. It might just change everything. If you'd like us to review your offer, DM us, and we can set up a free strategy call.

Two months ago, this coach was stuck. He had a great background in corporate, but was struggling to grow. Client flow was slow.   Revenue was inconsistent.   And it felt like he was doing everything alone. Fast forward to this message I got this week: 8 new clients signed. €10,000 in confirmed revenue. 7 more on hybrid offers with upside built in.   His best month ever by far.   And all of it was 100% organic. No ads. No complicated funnels. Just clear positioning and a system that works. Same coach. Same skillset. New strategy. So Daniel, what changed? He got clear on his offer.   He stopped trying to sell to everyone.   And he followed a simple plan designed to scale. If you’re a career coach stuck at 5–10K/month...   This is the shift that gets you to 30K, 50K, even 80K/month. Not by working more hours.   But by doing the right things in the right order. Want help figuring out what that looks like for you? I’m offering a free 1:1 Business Strategy Call. We’ll spend an hour identifying your bottlenecks and building a simple plan to grow, without burning out. Drop “Strategy” in the comments or DM me, and I’ll send you the link.

Most people think a resume is just a list of jobs. But in reality, it can be a really good branding tool. Mary spoke on our latest podcast episode, and she said something that stuck: “Your resume is the first place you start building your personal brand.” And once you hear that, you can’t unhear it. If your resume is only describing what you’ve done, you’re missing the point. It should signal who you are, what you stand for… And why you’re the right fit for the next opportunity. Your story. Your strengths. Your positioning. That’s how people start getting noticed faster. We covered so much more in the full episode: - How to turn resumes into interviews - Storytelling vs. keyword stuffing -  How to align your story to the role (without erasing your past) If you’ve been struggling to stand out in the job search, this is the perspective shift you need. I’ll drop the link to the episode in the comments.

Most people who try to sell on LinkedIn don’t have a content problem.   They have a clarity problem. They post consistently.   They try to educate.   They follow the “post every day” advice. But nothing lands. Because if your audience doesn’t understand what you do, who it’s for, and why it matters…   No amount of content will save you. Here’s the truth: If your content isn’t generating leads, it’s not because LinkedIn is saturated.   It’s because your positioning isn’t clear enough to convert attention into action. One of my clients learned this the moment we cleaned up his offer and tightened his messaging. He posted once. That one post got him: - 10 people DM’ing him directly to work together - 6 sales calls booked without follow-up - 50+ connection requests from ideal clients Same audience. Same platform. Different clarity. This didn’t happen because he went viral.   It happened because the right people saw themselves in his message... and knew exactly what to do next. That’s what personal branding actually is. It’s not just content.   It’s communication that converts. And once you get that right, the inbound leads follow. Reshare if this helped you see your content differently. Follow me for more frameworks that make your message clear and your pipeline consistent.

Let me tell you how one DM changed the course of my business (and life). In 2022, I was just another connection in the sea of followers that Adam Broda and Reno Perry had. We had supported each other’s content from afar, but we had never met. Then I shot my shot. I created a group chat with both of them and said: “Hey, want to do a mastermind together and share what’s working?” To my surprise, they both said yes (but only quarterly). Fast forward to 2024: I started working with Adam on scaling his coaching business. In early 2025, I started working with Reno. With every project, trust grew. Then I pitched something bigger: “What if we launched a program to help corporate pros turn their experience into a thriving business using LinkedIn?” They both said yes. We launched the first cohort in April, and we were blown away by the response. So, we doubled down. Last week, we all flew to Colombia, and we spent the week co-building the next chapter of this accelerator. Starting July 1, we’re bringing it to life. If you’ve been thinking about starting something… This is your sign. Shoot your shot. That one message in 2022? It sparked 4 successful businesses and a partnership I never could’ve predicted. No regrets. Just momentum.

You can’t build a business if you can’t convert strangers into clients. And right now, we’re in a trust recession. Everyone online is suddenly a coach, a consultant, or a content creator. Which means your ideal client has their guard up. Rightfully so. The only way to break through the noise? Show them you can solve their problem before you ask them to pay. Testimonials and lead magnets help, but not all lead magnets are created equal. In 2025, the #1 converting lead magnet for coaches is the live masterclass. Here’s why: You can fake a workbook with AI. You can fake a checklist, a mini-course, or a swipe file. But you can’t fake being live. Live masterclasses build trust fast. They give potential clients a sample of your coaching style. And they let you prove your credibility in real time before you ever pitch. If you’re a coach struggling to consistently turn strangers into sales calls… It’s probably not a lead problem. It’s a trust problem. Start hosting live webinars. One good one can change your entire pipeline. Reshare ♻️ to help others who need to hear this. And follow me for more posts like this.

A woman applied to 500 jobs and only got 2 interviews. She thought her resume was the problem. So she kept adding more details. But that wasn’t the issue. I heard this story from Anna, a recruiter who’s also helped 500+ job seekers. We had her on the podcast recently, and this one story stuck with me. The job seeker came from a sales background and wanted to move into HR. But her resume still sounded like sales: “Hit 120% of quota” “Closed $2M in deals” While they were great accomplishments, hiring managers didn’t care. Because that wasn’t the job she was applying for. Anna helped her rewrite it. They focused on the HR things she had already done: ✅ Hired new reps  ✅ Trained team members  ✅ Managed employee schedules It was the same role. What changed was the message. And guess what? She started landing interviews. If your resume lists everything you’ve done but not what makes you a fit for the job you want… It’s going to get skipped. Hiring managers don’t want your whole story. They want to know if you’re right for this role. So tell them.

Not everyone should be an entrepreneur. It’s hard. Unpredictable. You wear all the hats. Marketing. Sales. Accounting. Client success. You face uncertainty every day. Sometimes it feels like everything depends on you. But entrepreneurship is also one of the most rewarding journeys you can take. You build something that’s truly yours. Something that grows when you’re not working. You make your own rules. You make an impact. You live life on your terms. So to every entrepreneur on this crazy rollercoaster. I see you. I admire your courage. And I’m rooting for you. This ride isn’t for everyone. But if you stay the course, it’s worth it.

Prashha 3X’d her coaching business in the past year. Demand was through the roof. But she had a problem most coaches would kill to have... She couldn’t keep up. And if left unchecked, this good problem was going to become a real one: - Burnout - Slower client results - Missed opportunities to scale That’s where we stepped in. My team and I audited her business and built a plan to make it scalable, without sacrificing client outcomes. In less than 3 months: ✅ We restructured her offer ✅ Reduced her 1:1 call load ✅ And increased how fast her clients saw results Yes, you read that right: Fewer 1:1 calls with better client outcomes. We’re able to do this consistently because we’ve: - Been career coaches ourselves for over 10 years - Built programs that onboard 30+ high-ticket clients/month - Helped 50+ career coaches scale their delivery without breaking their business There’s no guesswork here, just proven systems. If you’re drowning in demand and ready to scale without working more hours... Let’s talk. Send me a DM, and we’ll show you how we do it.

Before you plan the next happy hour, here’s what actually makes your team want to stay. Too many companies obsess over perks people don’t care about: - Free snacks - Happy hours - Company swag - Pizza parties But ignore what employees actually need: ✅ Trust and transparency ✅ Managers who listen ✅ Pay that reflects value ✅ Flexibility and autonomy ✅ Feeling respected ✅ A culture of growth and safety Perks don’t build culture.   Leadership does. I’ve led teams. I’ve built teams. I’ve coached leaders who’ve done both.   And the message is always the same: You can’t trick people into staying. You have to lead in a way that makes them want to. Because at the end of the day, snacks are not strategy.   Swag is not retention.   And no one’s staying because of your trivia night. They stay because they feel valued. They stay because they feel heard. They stay because they trust you. So the next time you want to boost morale, skip the pizza party. Start with how you show up as a leader. Reshare ♻️ to help a manager who needs to hear this. Follow me for more posts like this.

“I’m not a career coach. I’m a career architect / mentor / strategist / consultant.” Cool. But guess what? Most people aren’t searching for a career architect. They’re searching for a career coach. When you don’t have a big brand yet, clarity is more important than creativity. Even in my business, I made the same mistake. We used to call one of our roles “Virtual Assistant.” No one was applying. So we changed the title to “Virtual Associate.” Applications doubled overnight. Same job. It was the wording that made a massive difference. This same rule applies to your content, your offers, and your bio. If people don’t understand what you do in 2 seconds, they’re moving on. So if you’re not getting warm leads, it might not be your strategy. It might just be your label.

                      304

AI is changing how people find jobs. But it’s also exposing why career coaches are more important than ever. Here’s what most people don’t see: 40% of job seekers now use AI to write resumes, practice interviews, and apply for jobs. And yet, only 5-10% of professionals have ever hired a career coach. Let that sink in. 87% of people use a real estate agent to buy a house. 38% use a financial advisor for retirement.   But when it comes to their careers (the foundation of everything) they DIY it. Meanwhile: 83 million jobs will be eliminated by 2027 due to AI. 52% of workers are worried about their future. Only 36% feel hopeful. What they need isn’t more tools.   They need guidance. Positioning. Strategy. AI can help you do more.   But it can’t help you think better. That’s what career coaches do. They don’t just fix resumes.   They build confidence. They clarify direction. They create structure in the middle of uncertainty. In a world where everyone’s using AI, the edge is human. Reshare to help others understand why coaching isn’t a luxury anymore. And follow me if you’re ready to see how coaching is evolving in 2025 and beyond.

The best candidates weren’t always the most experienced. They were the most clear. And as a former hiring manager for a Fortune 50 company, I saw this all the time. We didn’t choose the person with the longest resume. We chose the one who made it obvious they could do the job. Here’s what they did differently: 1. Framed their story around impact They led with results, not responsibilities. 2. Aligned their resume and LinkedIn Everything pointed to where they were going, not just where they had been. 3. Focused on traits that matter Adaptability. Ownership. Clarity. Not just job titles. 4. Owned their career change They explained it clearly and made the shift feel intentional. 5. Made it easy to say yes Clean messaging. Clear fit. No confusion. 6. Communicated with confidence Not arrogance. Just clarity on the value they bring. 7. Showed they could grow They didn’t need to check every box. They needed to show potential. Most people think they’re being rejected because of experience. But more often, it’s a positioning problem. Reshare to help someone stop getting filtered out. And follow me for more insights from the hiring side of the table.

A good leader doesn’t just build a business.   They build people. That means defending your team when it matters.   Taking the blame when things go wrong.   And passing the praise when things go right. I’ve seen what happens when leaders don’t: – Morale tanks – Good people burn out – Trust disappears And suddenly, the problem isn’t the team.   It’s the leadership. Your team isn’t just there to execute your vision.   They are the vision. And if you’re not protecting them, supporting them, and helping them grow…   you’re not leading. Great leaders don’t micromanage.   They don’t deflect blame.   They don’t hide when it gets hard. They show up.   They listen.   They lead by example. The way you lead shapes everything:   Your culture. Your retention. Your reputation. So if you’re scaling, hiring, or just trying to build something that lasts… Start with how you lead. The business follows. Reshare ♻️ to help others who need to hear this. And follow me for more posts like this. Credit to Adam Graham for the graph!

Most people aren’t lazy. They’re just afraid of looking dumb. They don’t avoid action because they don’t care. They avoid it because they hate being bad at something new. That fear? It’s what keeps people stuck in jobs they’ve outgrown. And businesses they never build. Here’s what I’ve seen after coaching hundreds of career coaches: The most successful ones? They’re not the smartest. They’re not the most confident. They’re not the most ready. They’re just the ones who take action anyway. Even when it’s messy. Even when they’re unsure. Even when they have no idea what they’re doing. They’re willing to be beginners again. And that’s the real superpower. So if you’re waiting to feel more prepared… Or waiting for the fear to go away… Let me save you some time: It won’t. Start before you’re ready. Ask the dumb questions. Get it wrong in public. And you’ll already be ahead of 90% of people who never start at all.
