I didn’t struggle with consistency because I couldn’t write.

I struggled because I didn’t want to post what didn’t feel like “me.”

For the last year, I’ve been on and off with LinkedIn.

Not because of time.

Trust me, I can write 5 posts in a day if I want to.
Sometimes in under an hour.

That was never the issue.

The real problem?
I never enjoyed posting pictures with writeups.

Not because there’s anything wrong with it.
Not because I judge anyone who does it.
It just didn’t feel like me.

And every time I tried forcing myself into that format,
the post stayed in drafts.
Then the next day, same story.
And the next.

Until consistency wasn’t “hard”
it was simply impossible.

Because I wasn’t showing up as myself.

Recently, I stopped fighting it.
I leaned into what I actually enjoy:
graphic visuals, frameworks, simple diagrams, clean ideas.

The things I naturally pay attention to.
The things I feel proud sharing.

And since last week, I’ve finally been showing up again.
Not perfectly.
Not “aesthetic.”
But honestly.

And I’m proud of that.

Here’s something I learned way too late:

You don’t need perfect content to be consistent.
You just need content that feels like YOU.

Start with what feels right.

So here’s a simple framework I give my clients to fix this fast ↓

2 years ago, I used to think LinkedIn was just
Post → Wait → Hope.

And honestly?
That “strategy” kept me stuck for months.

I posted daily.
got nice comments.
people said “love your content”.
and yet my DMs were emptier than my weekend plans.

It drove me crazy.

Because I knew I was showing up.
But nothing was actually moving.

No conversations.
No clients.
Just… noise.

That’s when it finally clicked:

Posting is not a strategy.
Posting is one tiny piece of a system.

And the people who were growing?
The ones getting inbound leads?
The ones landing clients quietly?

They weren’t just posting.

They were moving in a cycle that created

So I rebuilt everything I was doing from scratch.

No hacks.
No “post daily” pressure.
No random ideas thrown into the feed.

Just a clean system that actually compounds.

And that system became what I now call:

The moment I stopped treating LinkedIn like a posting platform.
And started treating it like a relationship platform.

Everything changed.

My content didn’t just get attention.

And honestly?
That feels better than any viral post ever could.

If your content is “visible” but not converting,

You don’t need to post more.
You need a system.

And this is the one I wish someone showed me earlier.

Contradictions spark curiosity. 
Curiosity sparks engagement.


3. We wrote it like a conversation.

Short lines. 
Easy reading. 
Zero friction. 
More completion rate = more reach.


4. We spoke to their identity, not their wallet.

The post wasn’t "here’s what we do".
It was "here’s who we are".

5. It tapped into an emotion everyone secretly feels.

Success isn’t hustle. 
It’s health, clarity, and routine.

That’s why people shared it. 
Saved it. 
Talked about it.

Not because it was “perfect copy”
but because it felt real.

If you want to create posts that travel, forget viral hacks.

Start sharing what you believe, not just what you do.

Attention is easy.

But converting that attention into revenue isn't.

Let’s be honest, attention today is cheap.

You can get it with 

One strong hook
A trending sound
A bold opinion.

But revenue?
That’s earned differently.

I learned this the hard way.

A few months ago, I had posts hitting thousands of impressions.

People shared them, saved them, even tagged their friends.

But my inbox?
All crickets.

That’s when it clicked:
I was creating awareness, not desire.

Because attention doesn’t equal intent.
People can love your content and still have no idea what you do.

Here’s what I changed:

1- Clarity over creativity

I stopped trying to sound clever.
I started sounding clear.
Simple language sells.

2- Proof over opinions

Nobody buys theory.
People buy confidence, and proof builds it faster than words.

3- Stories over structures

My content used to “teach.”
Now it shows real transformation.
And that’s what sticks.

4- Conversation over content

Half my sales now happen in the comments or DMs.
Not because I pitch, but because I respond like a human.

Attention builds visibility.
Conversion builds business.

Most creators expect this:

Post → Engagement → Leads → Clients

But the real cycle looks like this:

Post → Likes → Silence → Confusion

Your engagement glass looks full.

Here’s the fix, the simple shift that makes your expectations become reality:

The 3 things buyers need before they DM you

1) Recognition

-> They need to see their problem in your content.
(Not your expertise, their reality)

2) Reassurance

-> They need proof you’ve solved this before.
(Screenshots, systems, results, clear thinking)

3) Roadmap

-> They need to know “What happens if I work with you?”
(People don’t buy vague. They buy clarity)

When your content hits these 3, your “quiet” engagement suddenly turns into:

Profile views → Saves → Replies → DMs → Clients

Exactly like you imagined.

Here are 10 sales truths I learned the hard way, (the ones nobody talks about, but everyone should)

1. People buy when they feel understood, not impressed.

Stop flexing. 
Start relating.

2. Your tone closes more deals than your script.

Warm > perfect.

3. Most clients decide in the first 20 seconds if they trust you.

Your energy sells before your offer does.

4. If you mirror their pace + personality, the deal gets easier.

Humans buy from familiarity.

5. The best follow-up line is: “Still want me to hold this for you?”

Clear. 
Respectful. 
Zero pressure.

6. Clients don’t buy “services.” They buy saved time + reduced stress.

Sell the relief, not the work.

7. Your profile sells before your mouth does.

Fix that → your calls convert faster.

8. A confused buyer always says no.

Make your offer stupid simple.

9. Ask questions that make them think, not defend.

Curiosity > confrontation.

10. Silence is a closing tool.

Say your price, then stop talking.

None of this is fancy.
None of this is “tactical.”

It’s just human.
And that’s why it works.

For a long time, I kept asking myself one stupid question:

“Why is my content not working?”

And every time I asked it, I came up with the wrong answers.

“Maybe I need a better hook.”
“Maybe I should try a new format.”
“Maybe I should post more consistently.”
“Maybe I should sound more expert, more polished, more something.”

Last month, while talking to one of my clients, something very real hit me.

She said,

“Anjali, your posts are good, but I didn’t DM you because of your posts. I DMed you because one of your posts felt like you were inside my head.”

And that changed everything for me.

It wasn’t my content that was the problem.
It was my intention behind it.

I was posting to “show I know.”
But my clients needed content that said,
“I understand what you’re going through.”

There’s a big difference.

Most people on LinkedIn do exactly what I did:

They talk about the solution.
They talk about the strategy.
They talk about the outcomes.

But they never talk about the moment that made their client stop scrolling and think:
“Oh sh*t! This is literally me.”

That’s the moment that converts.
Not the polished posts.
Not the frameworks.
Not the perfect visuals.

And once I understood that,

Say less.
Start here.

Say it like you’re talking to one person, not the whole internet.

Sales gets simple when your message does.

2 years ago, I sucked at LinkedIn.

My posts barely crossed 10–12 likes.
Zero comments.
No conversations.
No leads. 

I gave up more times than I can count.

Yet somehow, even after quitting, I kept coming back.

Not because I was motivated.
But because something inside me kept saying,
"Maybe this time it will work."

So I posted again.

After days.
After weeks.
Sometimes after months.

And still…

Posting → no reach
Commenting → no response
DMs → no reply

At one point I genuinely thought LinkedIn was a waste of time.

Until I realised one thing:

LinkedIn doesn’t work like 2020 anymore.

You need:
