I’m currently enrolled in classes as a Senior concentrating in Mathematics with a secondary in Psychology at Harvard University. My expected graduation date is December 2024. In previous summers and gap-semesters, I interned with the Corporate Marketing team at Simon & Schuster and freelanced as an Audience Development Contributor at Wirecutter of The New York Times. Outside of class, I am Co-President of Harvard Girl Up, the College's chapter of the UN Foundation Initiative. I also sit on the Executive Board of Girl Up’s New England Coalition where I advocate for STEM-related initiatives, including climate justice. But before this, my environmental advocacy began with poetry. In May 2021, I wrote and performed the United Nations Environmental Programme’s curtain raiser film for World Environment Day. This poem, seen by millions around the world, is currently featured in the Peabody Essex Museum’s exhibit on Climate Action. Aside from climate activists, I’ve performed for some of my personal favorite stars like Lin-Manuel Miranda, Lizzo, Lupita Nyong’o, and Chadwick Boseman as a Mainstage Performer at Girl Be Heard. If I don’t become the next Amanda Gorman, I’ll probably end up in marketing or eduction. On my TikTok, @HappieJordan, I promote College and Career Readiness to middle, high school, and college students around the world. I grew this page to 100,000 followers in six months and have partnered with big names like Google, Amazon, Sony Music Entertainment, and Honda.
