Grateful for the opportunity to present the programme Mummy & Me, Learning Together at the Bright Start conference in Abu Dhabi, and show how important parent involvement is in learning and bonding before their child turns seven.

Grateful to the hundreds of parents who have supported me for years in this unique endeavour.

It was an absolute pleasure to meet Phil Long in person and observe two of his classes.

Phil is the Head of STEAM and AI at Arcadia Primary School in Dubai and seeing his work up close was ultimately inspiring.

During my visit, I saw first hand how brilliantly he guides his young students from curiosity to exploration and then to full project completion. From data analysis to the creation of final designs, students take ownership, understand every aspect of their goal, and grow through every step of the process.

We are pleased to share that on 28 November, Baku Eurasian University successfully hosted a special session titled “Social and Emotional Well-Being.”

The session was delivered by Theodora Bogiou, who provided meaningful insights into emotional health, resilience-building, and maintaining a positive mindset in both educational and personal contexts.

We extend our sincere appreciation to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sevda Rzayeva for her support, contribution, and outstanding hosting, and to all participants for their engagement and interest.

Two of the finalists came up to me and said, “We lost…”
I replied, “There are no losers in this game...in the game of education, there are only winners.”

I genuinely felt bliss seeing the excitement of all the winners in every category.

We are all working for the children.

And that makes me feel like a WINNER.

I just got back from my last trip… for 2025 😆 and I have so much to share with you about what I've learned and what I’ve been building these past months.

I spent my whole summer with a bicycle, a laptop in its basket, and thousands of thoughts in my head that spilled out on paper every time I made a stopover 😆 and because I don’t want to overwhelm you here on social media 🫩…I’ll “overwhelm” you 😆... with your permission ... inside the exSELlens ACADEMY launching in January 2026.

💣 What I realised is this: AI makes you more effective at who you already are.
So if you’re bananas 🫩… AI can turn you into a ticking time bomb 💣💣
AI CANNOT build your CHARACTER.
💥 Only EDUCATORS can do that.

It was an honour working with the students of the Baku Eurasian University on honing our interoceptive awareness and building our leadership skill set.

This group of trainee teachers showed how quickly learning shifts when students listen to their inner signals and recognise what their body is trying to tell them.

Every activity opened space for more clarity, stronger presence and deeper attention.

You could feel the room become more grounded the moment students realised that leadership starts with the ability to listen inwardly.

Grateful to Gunel and the ANT Education Center for the opportunity to see future leaders grow through practices that begin from within.

Well-Being is not what you do...it is what you ARE.

My latest article for Edutopia - George Lucas Educational Foundation was published this morning exploring the importance of a focused and purposeful wellbeing curriculum.

While many schools move away from wellbeing/personal development programs, my own Masters work a few years ago collected student perspectives and they don't want less, they want more. More exploration, more discussion and more application to their lives now, not in a distant far away future.

Social and emotional wellbeing is an anchor for all learning. We need to make sure we have programs that reinforce this link to the real world, so the knowledge and skill development in traditional curriculum feels connected to our students context and experiences.
