Public Affairs Officer

Served as a Small Group Leader (SGL) for the Captain Career Training Department (CCTD), Army Logistics University (ALU) educating students attending the Reserve Component Logistics Captains Career Course (RC LOG C3). Provided small group oversight for up to 1,200 National Guard and Army Reserve Officers annually. Responsible for preparing Ordnance, Transportation, Quartermaster and Medical Service Officers in the ranks of 1LT(P) and CPT to serve as multifunctional logistics Company Commanders and battalion and brigade staff officers. Taught tactical force sustainment doctrine, tactics, techniques, procedures and lessons learned in a small group environment stat maximizes performance-oriented training. Responsible for developing, revising and implementing lesson plans that incorporate emerging doctrine and directives. Coachds and mentored students in an effective learning environment that promotes critical and innovative thinking.

Small Group Leader

Commander of 594th Transportation Company, 129th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion in support of the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) Sustainment Brigade; comprised of 157 Soldiers. Responsible for combat readiness, health, welfare, training, discipline, safety, administrative support, professional and ethical development of Soldiers, and their Families' well-being. Accountable for the combat readiness of a fleet consisting of 200 pieces of rolling stock and responsible for a hand receipt valued at $30 million. Effectively trains, develops and mentors Soldier Leaders to ensure Soldier and Family Readiness is prepared to deploy anywhere in the world in support of contingency operations.

Company Commander

Responsible for the health, welfare, professional development and training for 38 Soldiers. 
Provided support to all garrison units at Fort Campbell and remotely located units throughout the Combined Joint Operations Area-Afghanistan (CJOA-A) during Operation Freedom's Sentinel (OFS).
Materiel Management section was responsible for managing six supply warehouses (five in US and one in Afghanistan), three ammunition supply points (one in US and two in Afghanistan), one food and bottle water warehouse (Afghanistan) and 18 fuel retail points in Afghanistan. 
Materiel Management provided all logistics services and commodities to the warfighter, ensuring operational success in garrison and Afghanistan.

Hello!

I'm an active duty US Army officer with over a decade of leadership in both the military and civilian sectors.  I'm a public affairs officer with prior experience in logistics. Previously, I served as a logistics instructor and commanded a transportation company of 157 soldiers.  

In addition to military service, I enjoy spending time with my wife and three kids, hitting the gym and flying my drone. I also tried to pick up skateboarding-it didn't go well. 

I earned my MBA from Kutztown University of Pennsylvania and hold a Bachelor’s of Science in Aviation Management from Ohio University.
