I organize a variety of community events throughout the year within the Columba Valley, mainly in the District of Invermere.  I am always looking to organize or assist with new events that contribute to the local economy and provide a sense of pride in our community.

Wings Over the Rockies Nature Festival

Wings Over the Rockies is a week long festival celebrating nature and birding throughout the Columbia Valley.  Working on the board with an outstanding group of volunteers, I focus on the wrap up fundraising gala and marketing.  2013 is going to be a fantastic year with record registration. www.wingsovertherockies.org

Mountain Mosaic is an arts festival and Canada Day celebration that offers plenty of free art activities for families, live entertainment, and a variety of food vendors.  

As the coordinator it is my responsibility to organize all aspect of the event including marketing, the entertainment line up, vendor booths, managing the budget, and soliciting sponsorships. 

Mountain Mosaic is run as part of a full summer of events organized by the Columbia Valley Arts Council.

I worked at Radium Resort booking corporate, leisure, and golf vacations for large groups.   I possess the creativity to add individuality to any group trip, corporate event or wedding.  I love what I do and look forward to working with new and returning group organizers.

Invermere District Curling Club

As a member of the Board of Directors it is my responsibility to recruit new curlers, and organize the commercial league as well as the Ladies League Bonspiel.   We are observing a growing number of curlers in both our adult and junior leagues.

Panorama Mountain Village

While at Panorama Mounatin Village, my focus was on selling group ski vacations in the winter, and weddings in the summer.  I was a liason between Panorama Mountain Village and tour operators in the ski industry including, Downhill Riders, Magis Bus Tours, and Backside Tours.
