I lead go-to-market efforts by identifying and securing collaborations with key ecosystem players — from accelerators and VC funds to corporate innovation teams — to position Connectd as a leading growth platform for early-stage ventures. My work integrates partnership strategy with startup acquisition, forging connections between founders and world-class advisors, investors, and fractional executives, while delivering event collaborations that amplify brand presence and accelerate market penetration.

US Startup Acquisition and Partnership Development Lead

At Connectd, we’re redefining how early-stage companies scale by connecting visionary founders with world-class advisors, board members, and fractional executives. Our platform is fueling a new wave of startup growth — powered by experience, strategic insight, and meaningful human connection.

In my role as Business Development Consultant, I was responsible for onboarding senior executives and C-suite leaders into the Connectd network. This meant driving outreach, building relationships, and clearly positioning the value of portfolio careers to high-caliber professionals from top global companies.

I guided advisors through the onboarding process, showcased opportunities to engage with founders, and ensured a seamless experience that turned interest into long-term membership. Each conversation was a consultative sale: understanding motivations, aligning expectations, and ultimately matching advisors with startups where their expertise could make an immediate impact.

The result: a growing pipeline of engaged advisors ready to support early-stage companies across fundraising, go-to-market, and scaling operations — while building out meaningful portfolio careers of their own.

- Led the largest Turquoise Takeover campaign nationwide, raising awareness and support for lung health initiatives.
- Co-led regional Turquoise Takeover campaigns across the Southeast United States, driving increased community engagement.
- Cultivated and managed relationships with donors, sponsors, and community partners, strengthening long-term support and increasing financial contributions to mission-driven programs.

-Analyzed customer behavior, industry trends, and competitive landscapes to identify market opportunities and inform go-to-market strategies.

As Director of Operations, I led client relationship management, business development, and daily operations for Opulence Entertainment Group. I cultivated and maintained partnerships with high-profile clients, including LIV Miami, Swan, Hurry Up Slowly, and Greek life organizations at the University of Miami and Florida International University.

Key responsibilities and achievements:

- Oversaw operational planning and execution for events and client engagements, ensuring seamless service delivery.
- Managed and expanded client accounts, strengthening long-term relationships and securing repeat business.
- Led inbound and outbound sales efforts to acquire new clients, driving revenue growth and market expansion.
- Collaborated cross-functionally with marketing and event teams to ensure alignment with client expectations and brand standards.
- Demonstrated strong leadership in team coordination, client negotiations, and problem-solving under high-pressure environments.

As Fundraising Chair, I led grassroots fundraising and community engagement initiatives for UNICEF, collaborating with nonprofit partners including Lotus House, the Red Cross, and Pridelines.

I served as the bridge between our board, general members, and partner organizations—aligning stakeholder expectations to design and execute fundraising campaigns that surpassed our annual goals.

Key highlights:
- Developed and implemented fundraising strategies that combined grassroots outreach, donor engagement, and volunteer coordination.
- Strengthened community partnerships to create meaningful volunteer opportunities and increase impact.
- Successfully mobilized members and supporters to exceed fundraising targets, supporting UNICEF’s mission and partner organizations.
