My key area of expertise resides in system and software engineering of embedded systems such as chassis brake systems (Electronic Stability Control (ESP), Electronic Power Boost (iBooster), Decoupled Power Brake (DPB) and Integrated Power Brake (IPB)). In my current role I am responsible in my department for brake system engineering, design and architecture for customer projects surrounded by a team of motivated embedded SW engineers who rely on my expertise. My years of experience in chassis brake systems allow me to easily fit into any other embedded control system e.g., Powertrain, Suspension, Battery management, Vehicle motion...etc. The trend of more autonomy in car driving which is on the rise fascinates me equally. I also have knowledge of system and software development according to automotive SPICE standards. I have successfully led the development and integration of various chassis brake functions for above mentioned systems for series production with great teams around me for many OEMs. I am passionate about all areas of vehicle motion/stability control in the automotive industry as well as leading customer teams in many different regions throughout embedded system/software development until release to series production. My goal is to transition into an engineering manager role or system development product lead for embedded systems. I believe that with my year of experience I have acquired the required skillset to assume any of these roles.
