Just look at this lead on HF activity Jensen’s flexing at GTC today

Once they dominated with Software 1.0 (more than hardware).

Now they’re setting up to win Software 2.0 aka AI models + datasets.

EU–INC is the single best thing Europe could do to catch-up in the AI race

A simple unified pan-European startup structure, with modern employee ownership and simple access to capital, able to tap into Europe’s full talent pool.

🦄This is exactly what ambitious founders need to start and scale and catch up with the rest of the world:

- A single new pan-European legal entity
- A single central EU-level registry
- Standardized investment documents
- Standardized EU-wide stock options
- Local taxes & employment

⚠️This proposal is at the finish line but has high risks of being diluted and rendered useless by national governments.

A fresh new collaboration by Google AI Google DeepMind and Yale University pushed by David van Dijk and shared by Sundar today

Bringing together AI + cancer research + open-source

A perfect example of AI and researchers working in harmony with human scientists identifying the problem to solve (in this case, how to make "silent" cancer cells visible to the immune system so that they can be killed early) and AI coming with testable hypothesis extending the one people could source in the literature. Some of these AI-generated predictions turned out to be unexpected and hugely effective. Bringing the best of both worlds and showing a path for AI+human science research.

Thinking long-term, science research has been most beneficial and successful when it involved a community exchanging and fostering ideas. We have to keep this alive in a world of increasingly unbalanced power dynamics (from AI capex concentration).

We need way more open-source and open-science.

Such a pleasure to have witnessed over the past year the growth of Nvidia as a place to build and share high quality open-source AI models and datasets.

With 450 new repos (models, datasets and spaces) in the last year they have already climbed to #2 in the most active organizations releasing on the hub.

Killing the last competitive advantage in Europe?

The EU might be about to destroy one of the most successful entrepreneurial clusters it has ever had: the games industry.

Europe has produced amazing global champions such as King, Unity, Playrix, Supercell, Angry Birds, and Minecraft. Together, they represent more than 100,000 jobs and over 5,000 companies.

But new EU guidelines on in-game token usage could fundamentally disrupt how current game business models work. They could make it impossible to offer free games with optional in-game purchases.

As often happens, the initiative comes from good intentions. Yet it is clear that the people behind the proposal do not play games and have little understanding of what it means for the player experience. Imagine having to give consent every few seconds just to use a virtual currency in your favorite game.

Ilkka Paananen , the founder of Supercell (Europe’s first decacorn), explained this far better than I can in his letter below. Take a minute to read it — it’s insightful and worth discussing.

Why does Europe want to end one of its biggest tech success stories?

I've been watching European tech grow for 25 years. In that time, our continent has gone from being a minor player to producing global leaders.

But right now, potential regulations threaten to bring that progress to an end for one of Europe's few globally competitive industries: gaming. As I set out in this letter, EU proposals around digital coins are on track to fundamentally break how games work - and ruin the player experience for the millions of people who love games across the continent.

Thanks to Video Games Europe, European Games Developer Federation (EGDF) and my fellow gaming leaders for helping raise awareness of this issue. It's really important we speak up and work constructively with decision-makers to ensure new rules support our work to create a safe, fun player experience for everyone.

Hands-on with Reachy Mini as part of the beta.
Over the last few days we have been exploring the fully open‑source SDK from Pollen Robotics and Hugging Face. It ships with a MuJoCo simulator from Google DeepMind, so you can start building without hardware and plug in your favorite ML model or LLM.

Our hardware unit arrives this week. 
An integrated Raspberry Pi option is planned in the next few months.

I will share experiments, tips, and code as we go.

I’m very new to robotics but it felt like the next logical step in my AI learning journey. 

After finally getting my hands on the Reachy Mini Simulator, I built a tool to learn: a choreography editor (React + Tone.js + FastAPI) to explore ⏰ timing, 🏃‍♀️ motion, and ▶️ playback.

🌟 Quick wins: pre-buffered moves that stay on beat, a simple offset slider, direct-sim mode, and timelines that show real durations.

🧐 What I learned: match control rates to the runtime, use monotonic time, precompute heavy work, and keep visuals honest.
