Senior Consumer Marketing Manager

Created sustainable 1.5M USD of annual profit and improved user manual net promoter score by 48 points via lean six sigma business process improvements.

This position is part of the Management Development path within Philips. Led two business improvement projects using the Lean Six Sigma Methodology.

Project 1: Multisite, international consumer research, and process improvement for technical communication (Hong Kong)
- This project resulted in an average increase of Net Promoter Score (NPS) of 48 for prototype user manuals while keeping unit cost steady. Another output was low-cost, pictorial-based user manual formats.

Project 2: Growth plan and profitability Improvement (Stamford / Connecticut)
- Developed a strategic growth plan for our US headphones business and led a project on margin improvement for this business, resulting in additional yearly profit of at least 1.5 M USD directly attributable to the project and additional "soft" profits.

Senior Lean Six Sigma Blackbelt Manager

Created Philips first ever range of award winning Bluetooth wireless headphones, Gained listings with leading US and European retailers growing turnover from zero in 2006 to double digit budget M USD sales.

- Built organizational capabilities for creating the then new product category of wireless headphones for mobile phones.
- Managed the portfolio for profitable growth using a category management approach
- Created differentiated, validated value propositions through consumer research, including a world's first touch sensitive user interface for headphones.
